The staff friendliness was above and beyond; extremely welcoming behavior. The cleanliness was absolutely impeccable. We never once felt grossed or seen anything unsightly. And last but certainly not least, the rooms handsomely presented aesthetic and spacious volume felt very inviting and a true testament to a fair market value for the price.

I want to preface this by saying, by no means does my criticism deter me or anyone I would recommend this hotel to from not bunking up here in the future. I will surely be staying here again and will recommend to anyone I know and care for; that if you’re visiting Gainesville, Florida this is the place to stay. My criticism is: merely not having the take home toiletries often provided by many hotels. The complimentary breakfast was mid.

The room was incredibly spacious and felt like a mini apartment—super clean and well-organized. The bathroom and shower were large and comfortable. I especially loved the full kitchen, which was perfect for a short stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with real scrambled and boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, pancakes, and more. The service was friendly and attentive, and the pool was a great perk during the hot summer.

The address listed for the hotel is incorrect—it took us to the hotel next door. I recommend they update the location to avoid confusion.

Excellent in every way - staff was there when you needed them, property was gorgeous & well maintained, the kitchen & room was great for a family.. I Linked in an issue & it was addressed immediately- that was very impressive.

If I’d change anything it’s the bathrooms - fans are needed so every bodily sound isn’t heard in the bedroom. Also, shower curtains don’t stay side to side - they scrunch to the middle. This leads to a cold air shower & floor mess to mop up..

Beautiful property, very clean and spacious room, clean bathroom, and so on. The mini kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator is definitely an advantage for longer stays. All around a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this place without reservations.

There was a little wall-paper damage in the bathroom wall of the room we stayed in. Nothing that cannot be easily fixed. Other than that, no complaints.

The room was spacious with a full-sized refrigerator, 2 burner cooktop and dishwasher. Everything was very clean, but there was no antiseptic smell which I appreciated. The bathroom was so clean, that I even took a bath...which is NOT something I will typically do in a hotel room AND I felt comfortable sitting and relaxing on the sofa. The airconditioning was quiet and worked perfectly...thermostat on the wall. I was on the 5th floor away from the elevator as requested and my room was very quiet. I was near the road, but could not hear any traffic. The fitness room was well equipped with multiple treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, dumbbells and a cable machine. The pool area was clean and lived up to what I had expected from the pictures and, even though it was hot, there were many shady spots with cabanas, umbrellas, or trees. The breakfast was typical fare for hotels of this type, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs (a little salty for me) waffle makers, etc. But nothing special. The kids in the breakfast area seemed happy with their choices.

The bed was a little soft for me, but probably fine for most people. I didn't really use all of the amenities in the room, so the stay was maybe a little pricier than was necessary, but if you are staying awhile or if you have kids with you, this hotel would be a great value.

The doors to the rooms were heavy and detailed. The carpets ware very nice. Hallways were wide like an expensive hotel. Towels and bed so soft. Lighting was wonderful and of course the front desk hospitality was amazing!

Arrived at the time of closing for breakfast and they added gates and told us breakfast was closed. But there was still so much food out on display. We traveled from the West coast and arrived late the night before. I understand it was closed but in one minute we could have help her with leftovers. We were not looking for free food. Just a warm breakfast from our late arrival the night before.

My family and I stayed there due to the hurricane that was coming. I think we probably looked and went back and forth from hotel to air b&b for almost 2 days. Finally we decided to go with a hotel and low and behold I had Genius level 2 and it showed me Staybridge, I liked the way the hotel looked and it was the only one that had the King Suite available and I needed 3 of them. I booked on line and then called to see if I could have the rooms close together, They had already did that for me!! I was blown away, never has a hotel done that on their own!! This one did! Not only was the hotel Beautiful, rooms and bed comfy and the breakfast amazing, but the entire staff was awesome! So nice, helpful, caring, and you could just tell they liked what they do! I def will be going back. Even though I live around the corner from the hotel, That's how much I love it and it will be my little mini home away from home when I just need a min to myself to breathe! : ) OH and another thing, the pool was open til 10 pm, I even saw people in there after that time too!

There was nothing I didn't like. Except I had to leave and go back home.

The breakfast area was clean, well supplied, and conveniently located. There was a good variety of items to get a quick breakfast and be on your way. The hand wash, body lotion, shampoo & conditioner refillable dispensed were very nice. Conveniently accessible, secured to be tamper proof, refillable saving a lot of plastic that is used with the tiny little individual bottles frequently found in hotels.

I would have preferred to have a handheld shower head.

Convenient location to Univ of Florida. Good breakfast. Not only efficient and friendly staff but they were happy people. Everyone we encountered in Gainesville was happy. There was an outdoor area and pool that were utilized well. The grounds were well kept as was the interior. Would stay there again and would be disappointed if we couldn’t stay there. It was also super close to restaurants and shopping.

Breakfast is really basic and no gluten free options for breads etc and no milk alternatives on offer not a major downs side as there are lots of restaurants nearby but would be nice if there were something on site
