What a beautiful property with an astounding view from the restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff were so sweet and friendly and helpful. They can make arrangements for massages, tours and we took the indigo dying workshop which was incredible. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was very nice, with hot water too. The attention to detail was amazing. It’s also in a great location to walk around the whole town. Suchitoto is a beautiful place full of culture and it’s reflected in the atmosphere at Casa 1800. I also loved how many beautiful chandeliers there were everywhere.

this is an amazing hotel in suchitoto! very comfortable outdoor spaces with a gorgeous, panoramic view of the lake. reception staff was great and even assured we had a parking space right out front! very walkable location. breakfast was great! we went out for dinner at another property and the food was not great, we regretted not trying this hotel’s dinner menu. they had a musician playing on the deck in the afternoon/evening which added to the ambiance. very interesting property with sections built in the 1820’s. rooms were comfortable with great bathrooms. overhead windows but non on the walls which made room extra dark at night(a plus) but may be claustrophobic for some. great, comfortable beds!

This property blew our minds. It felt upscale, but homey and very historic. The views were incredible, the food and service was top notch, and our room was comfortable and quiet. we were also able to pay in bitcoin, which we appreciated. It's a quick stroll along picturesque streets to the town centre, and we just happened to arrive as a fair was setting up, which made our time in Suchitoto extra special and memorable. That ferris wheel goes FAST! We highly recommend this property and would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat.

Besides the 2 things I mentioned here, I liked everything! The staff was welcoming and efficient, and everyone was very friendly. The premises were nice and clean, and the view was amazing. I also liked the decoration. Every little detail was very well thought. The rustic washroom outside is really nice, too. But what I enjoyed the most was the food, everything was delicious and for a good price with a variety of options. Thank you!

I didn't like 2 things: 1) The rooms don't have a window. Instead of the big mirror, a small window would've been perfect there, so guests could get some natural air. 2) The pillows are too high and hard.

Lovely property in a quiet part of town. Excellent and helpful. Restaurant has a beautiful view of the lake, an abundance of fun seating (like swings) and the breakfast was good (we didn’t have any other meals there. We visited 2 other casa 1800 properties (cerro verde and Ataco) and wished we had booked rooms in both places.

The only downside to the rooms was that there is only one small window located above the door, which doesn’t allow in much light and it feels a little claustrophobic. Unfortunately ALL the rooms are this way. However, the staff acknowledged our disappointment and tried to offer a solution of moving to a different room in a less trafficked area and keeping the door open. Their willingness to help was very much appreciated and proves their quality customer service.

It was a beautifully designed hotel that fit the spirit and the nature of the small town, Suchitoto. Lovely small touches, like fresh roses on the tables, free assortment of teas upon arrival, lovely and knowledgeable staff, and the grandness of the rooms were all well received!

Although it is a small town and it may be challenging to keep some things on-hand that aren’t not popular in the area, they didn’t offer any alternative options for people with dietary restrictions at the restaurant (non-dairy milk, horchata without sugar, etc)_

The place is beautiful and quiet. The staff is really amazing, specially the man in charge of parking, he doesn't rest until the car was in a nice spot closer to the hotel. The food is incredible.

The room is beautiful but the TV set is at one side of the bed, it's kind of uncomfortable to use it unless you rest across the bed. There is a beautiful wood window between the bedroom and the bathroom, is lovely but it has no use (unless you want to see your companion at the bathroom), it will be better if you can simulate the window and move the TV set to that position.

The hotel is beautiful, without a doubt! The viewpoint was incredible and so dreamy. We appreciated how easy parking was and how the security (Tony) was so accommodating & helpful. They had an option for guests to take an evening boat ride and we absolutely loved that. It was great!

If I could make any changes it would be: add more local dishes and cuisine to the menu and having a fridge in the room would have been a nice touch.

Staff very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. The restaurant of the hotel is a good money value. If You order a pupusa or pancakes in the morning, they are actually really big. loved it. After traveling to Casa 1800 located in Ataco 1 year ago, we are Definitely coming back to the one located in Suchitoto.

The only thing we didn’t like is that the pillows are not confortable.

The best stay of our first six in El Salvador! The mix of attention to detail, cleanliness, spectacular location/view, professional staff, made it a special experience. Hot showers were even possible (not yet a common thing all throughout the country).

Wifi was intermittent.
