My stay at Posada de Suchitlán was nothing short of magical. The property perfectly blends colonial charm with modern comforts, offering a serene escape in the heart of Suchitoto. The views of Lake Suchitlán from a the restaurant are breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The lush gardens on the property make it feel like a true oasis. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The on site restaurant serves delicious Salvadoran cuisine with fresh ingredients, and the atmosphere is both cozy and elegant. The location is ideal—just a short walk from Suchitoto’s historic center, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and relax. I can’t wait to return!

Everything was perfect

It was quiet, the rooms were beautiful, comfortable and clean There was a lovely pool, shady court yard with fountain. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It was a lovely oasis in elegant surroundings.

The swimming pool was fequently taken over by groups for the entire day so not so peaceful anymore.

I love this beautiful place and wish we could stay longer. Everything was perfectly maintained and clean. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. We arrived early and they accommodated us rapidly. The food is exceptional. There is free parking. The views from the restaurant and Villas are heavenly. The pool is lovely, clean and inviting- There was a big thunderstorm on our last night and staff continued to bring a delicious meal to our room. Muchas Gracias! Also n our first day arrival- staff was kind to allow other fellow travelers to join our tour of the grounds and stay with us poolside for a bit longer.

Mosquitos and thunderstorms- not the hotels issue :) The bed I was in was a bit too hard.

location with a great view of Suchitlan lake. all staff very friendly, very good breakfast with free coffee refill and great view. quiet neighborhood only five blocks from central park. refreshing pool. a lot of restaurants/shops/museums/coffee shops with a 5 minute walk from hotel. A/C in the room. complimentary water bottles when we arrive.

there was some ants in the bathroom, the drawer was not clean inside also under the bed it was not clean.

Nature,good food and the views Most of all the fauna,butterfly's, birds,etc Also I am salvadorean by birth and and am 56 years old it was the first time seeing the national bird of my country the majestic torogoz right out the villa (rooms) also there were tuccans

Not staying longer

you will live in a real colonial hacienda with the most gorgeous view of the lake! many birds flock to the balcony in the morning, allowing you to observe the living nature. enjoy your stay here

There is internet only on the veranda

Spectacular view of the lake from the room and the restaurant. Old world feel. Room and bathroom were very spacious. Nice pool. Quiet and tranquil area of town but still walkable to town center.

The location was beautiful and the rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. The food was also very good and the service was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

It would have been nice to have signs leading to the restrooms near the swimming pool. The staff was really friendly but we had to wait for someone to come by to find out where the restrooms were.

I like the place and everything about it!

The bathroom needs more attention. Hot water wasn’t stable. And the blanket seems to need washing .everything else was great!!

Breakfast was fabulous . Beautiful view of the lake.

More comfortable chairs at the pool and towels.
