The property was located right at the edge of the main village. It was a short walk to the gondola that took us to the base of the ski hill. The hot tub was great to have after a long day of skiing and it was quite big so it really didn’t feel over crowded. Rooms were big and comfy and just what we needed for the two of us.

I had read fairly mixed reviews about the breakfast. There were options like toast and bagels, cornflakes, and oatmeal. There could be more desired from the fruit options and offering more than just overly hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, and cubed cheese.

We recently enjoyed a 3 night stay and couldn't have asked for anything more. Our room was incredible. The bed was so comfy, the fireplace Cozy, the bathroom was so big with a huge tub for soaking after a long day of wandering the village. The location of this hotel was perfect. Not on the main road in the village, but right around the corner. We were able to watch deer wander through the village on our way back to our room. The free casino shuttle was steps away. Breakfast was simple yet perfect, and the free all-day coffee/tea was appreciated. The suite upgrade was a very pleasant surprise. Thank you!

The only negative comment I can make is the parking fee of $22/night.

Great location and wonderful accommodating staff. Clean hotel and it is very quiet. A great location to bring your family or come alone for some peace and relaxation! We brought our 6 year old and 1 year old and they both enjoyed their stay. Room was spacious for my little one to walk around. Breakfast was okay, as it is continental breakfast. Location is fantastic as it is in the village with walking distance to the cabaret lift to the centre of the village, walking distance to board walk viewing the lake, and small beach. Hotel has a patio for extra seating during breakfast, really nice and peaceful with few steps to a playground to take the kids after a meal. There is also a small pool to relax in during the hot summer days. Hot tub is also available. Would def come back and stay here again!

It is a smaller hotel so no restaurant at the hotel but there are restaurants close by. So there was not much we did not like about it. Also automatic doors at front entrance would be great to have for those with wheelchairs and strollers. Not sure if I missed it but I did not see that.

First time staying at Ermitage du Lac. In contrast or comparison to competitive properties locally, I say it ranks on par with the others and I can attest to that as we've stayed in most of the local village properties at one point or another. Can't speak to encountering many staff in which to interact with as accommodations are secondary to the skiing. From the several people that I have encountered, it's been pleasant and the staff have been friendly. Our accommodations included the deluxe King suite, which came equipped with obviously the king size bed and also a couch with a double pull out mattress. Our room came equipped with a push button fireplace, seating for two at a dining table, a small kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, a two burner stove, microwave along with pots/pans and utensils to cook small meals. The location is perfect if you're wanting to be close to the village. It only takes a minute or two to walk around the corner and enter up into the shops and suites that the area offers. There is near direct access to the Cabriolet which takes you to the base of the mountain. If I was to guess it might take you 90 seconds to get to the cabriolet from the front door of the hotel. Rooms and bedding were comfortable, nothing better or worse to compare to. All in all, a pleasant stay and when comparing prices for next year if it was to be on par with any of the other properties that it competes with, I'd have no qualms about staying here, just the same.

They recently had a water problem that wreaked havoc to some rooms and the foyer/reception area. It caused problems as well for the dining area. Guests had to grab a modified breakfast and take back to their rooms to eat. Obviously beyond their control but was an inconvenience. The kicker was being notified of the problem by email on my check out, not prior to arrival. The receptionist asked when I checked in if I had been notified of the matter and I had not. I'm told that a possible room rate reduction may be considered.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ermitage du Lac. The hotel is very well-located in Mont-Tremblant resort - it's right at the entry point to all the shops, restaurants and bars but set back enough so it's not in the middle of the fray so you can enjoy a peaceful setting. The hotel backs onto a small mirror lake and our room had a porch overlooking a church on a green, with deer frolicking by. The staff were friendly and helpful - allowing us to store our luggage before check-in. The room was very large with a comfy lounge area and dining/kitchenette area. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was fantastic - really great variety and the staff organising the breakfast were very friendly. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

Great position with an easy walk to the village. The room was large and comfortable. They provided a kettle as well as a coffee maker which was great.

There was a large sofa in the room and a small double bed. We would have preferred a larger bed and a smaller sofa. The breakfast was self service and quite good but I didn't like that they had the pastries in a cabinet with a staff member serving them to you. Placed prominently by the cabinet was a tip box which I felt was a bit pushy.

Super location, spotless clean accommodation with loads of room. The hotel is economical, nicely updated with pretty architecture and landscape. Really appreciated breakfast being included, the very helpful courteous staff and being upgraded to 2 bedrooms.

Thermostat seemed to not function well but the staff came up immediately to address the issue. This is not about the hotel but many of the surrounding restaurants are not fantastic. It takes a while until you find a decent resto.

Very convenient location. Close to the open cabin lift to the top of the resort, but at the same time away from the noise. Beautiful view! The hotel was very clean, staff were friendly and responsive, free breakfast included. Rooms have been recently renovated and clean, enough space for 4 people in the 1 bedroom suite. Swimming pool is a little bit small.

Small swimming pool. You can dip, but can’t swim.

Ermitage is a great place to stay while at Tremblant. It offers great value, a free breakfast, and a hot tub, which is an excellent way to relax after a day on the slopes. The staff is great, and the rooms are a decent size, with some having fireplaces.

It can get busy depending on the dates you come, but that is still not a terrible thing.

Location is perfect for a family visiting the village since everything is walkable. Room was spacious and accommodated our family of 4 very well. Hot tub access was nice. Staff was helpful and effective.

Property is currently under renovations but this is only an aesthetic issue in the lobby otherwise didn’t affect our stay. Breakfast was included but very basic (toast, croissants, pastries, muffins, cold boiled eggs, ham, cheese and fruit).
