Love the safari huts. We go there a few times a year just to have a little getaway that’s away from home but not extremely far. The price isn’t bad, staff is friendly, and the huts are private which is what we love. We’re also happy that we can find things to do that are nearby. I haven’t stayed inside the hotel, we prefer the huts that are behind the hotel and feel secluded from everything else. We booked 2 nights and then decided to stay a third night!

A few updates wouldn’t hurt but we still love it. The traffic is ridiculous in the city, but nothing we can do about that 😉. All in all, it’s a great place to stay. I have told many friends to go and visit.

The location & the pool & amenities! The staff was very friendly!

I have been staying here in & off since I was a little girl (I’m 35) it’s definitely not what it use to be! Our rooms were so outdated & frankly dirty feeling! This property needs a good makeover/update! It has so much potential to be what I remember it to be as a kid! This place is where my family from Indiana would meet us ( we were from Tennessee & it was kind of like a half way point between our homes) for random weekends to just spend time with our cousins & aunts! We made so many good memories here! So I take my kids & we have stayed a couple times doing the same thing with them! With just some good TLC & a facelift this place would benefit greatly!

The staff is friendly, attentive, kind and knowledgeable The pool had just enough chemicals to be clean but not stinky. The room was clean. Not crazy about the driveway, however it does have a central location as far as places to go/do.

We stayed in the Cupid room. I understand that it is supposed to be romantic, however I would have appreciated at least one fully lit lamp in the room and the option to have it not so bright in the bathroom.

I’ve been coming to this hotel for more than 25 years and have tons of fun childhood memories here. I see a lot of recent negative reviews, but I was completely satisfied with my recent stay here. Over the years they’ve gotten rid of some things that I used to like, such as recently the jacuzzi’s waterfall, but the overall hotel hasn’t changed too much. Breakfast and the spa have finally reopened following the pandemic and the breakfast has definitely improved from my childhood, as there is now a full-sized breakfast room with a collection of interesting newspaper articles about the hotel and an increased selection of food. The staff were very friendly and I really enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi. I’ll be back soon! The hotel seems to be doing better than it’s been in a while. The two times prior to this one, I basically had the hotel to myself, but this time it was as busy as maybe I’ve ever seen it.

I hope the deck on the second floor of the main building will be open again someday. I always liked going up there. And just my personal wish: I wish the windows in the tropical dome could be closed. I always the strong smell of chlorine in the dome, but now I don’t feel it as much.

My little family and I had the best time they love the pool and we definitely love the hot tub it was a great time! The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very nice we had an awesome time it's a little outdated but it's fun and the price is great!

The only thing I didn't really like was the smell of the room it just smelled dingy and old which it's okay it didn't really bother us too much.

What draws me to Wildwood is the pool. It is semi heated, but the best attraction is the waterfall in the middle.

What I didn't like was the hours of the pool. It stays open till 11pm, but it does not open until 4 pm. Some of the arcade games need to be repaired or replaced. The pool tables are in the room with the pool, so the moisture in the air is breaking them down. The felt is peeling off, and the money mechanism is getting stuck.

The front desk was extremely nice and always smiling. I’ve been a few times for daddy daughter trips to the Reds games . Every time it’s been a blast . My daughter is 5 years old and loves it. The pool and hot tub are clean and temperature controlled . Great place !

I liked the safari them....it fits my personality....the Jacuzzi was on point by the way...I like how we have our own privacy....the Individual huts were nice...

Didn't like how the Frame was was damaged before we got to the room...😕 it made it hard for us to sleep...I didn't like the unwelcomed guest either (spiders) I understood the safari them I was like was that a prop my friend said no I saw it crawl from under the bed....

I arrived late and the staff were gracious and helpful. I got checked in quickly; they made sure I had all the information I needed. The room was quiet and I slept well.

Well, there's a pool and kids were squealing and running about early in the morning but I can't really fault them for that.

Change machine only takes up to $5 so you have to get change for a 10, 20, etc. The pool wasn't open in the morning for us to swim before checkout. That was the biggest bummer. Hot tub was closed. I personally don't care but for this being a hotel that has expensive and themed suites I would think there would be at least a small breakfast bar but the closest thing is a vending machine, coffee & coffee pot in your room, or doing what we did and use door dash.
