It is great that the facilities are designed to let you park in front of your door. The lady at the desk advised us very well about where to go and where to have dinner. Breakfast was quite complete.

With three or four people you cannot really use the air conditioning since the machine is right above the bed in the living room and the people there would freeze. Since both beds were prepared with duvets, sleeping without air conditioning was a nightmare (summer time!). Furthermore, the pillows were square, too big and irregular, which did not really help. It was really a shame since the bed and mattress were of good quality.

Excellent value for money. Easy parking, simple practical room and bathroom, big really comfortable bed. Quiet night at back of motel away from the road. Hot drinks available in the lounge as part of the service, definitely a nice touch after long journey and arrival. Great breakfast, friendly staff. Our expectations for the very reasonable price were clearly exceeded. We'll be back again whenever passing en route in future, or perhaps visiting Aix-les-Bains one of these days......

Great location, on a main road but quiet and a good sleep. Useful location as we (family of 4 ) were driving back from Tignes to Lyon airport. Rooms were great and much more than described with 2 separate rooms (one double bedroom and the living area made up with a double sofa bed), separate toilet from bathroom - always good when there are 4, and a small kitchen area with a microwave, fridge and 2 induction plates. Fantastic bakery just 8 minutes walk from the motel - although the breakfast in the main reception area did look great, our daughters love the boulangerie/patisseries in France! The coffee in the reception area was free and was lovely as were the hot chocolates from the machine. Really easy check in and out, easy parking right outside our door. I would definitely recommend the Motel 991 to anybody and we would stay here again if we were doing a similar skiing trip.

Nothing. Wish we could have stayed longer as it is very close to the Lac de Bourget.

Good hotel on our route between Spain and home. We had a room at the backside so no noise of the traffic. The room is simple and clean and the bed was excellent for us. The breakfast war really very good. We always carry our own water cooker and mugs etc but there was free coffee and tea to obtain in the lobby. Very nice. At about 300 meters there is an nice pizzeria with good food.

Best mattress we’ve had across numerous France and Italy 4 star hotels! Large open air parking for high vehicles, easy to find off the motorway and despite being on a busy road the traffic dies down early and you can’t hear a thing. There’s an on site restaurant and sports bar with a pretty good menu, good breakfast, the lovely receptionist was very helpful on checkin and breakfast lady was very pleasant also. It’s close to big shopping centre, spacious, clean rooms with mini kitchenette. Will definitely stay again if we are back this way

Checking in and put was easy. Plenty of parking. Good sized room and bed. Beautiful location with local walks and view points.

We came back from being out for the day and found our door was left open. We appreciate that the bed was made and the bin was emptied everyday. But was a bit unerving coming back to the door being open with our belongings all in the room.

Great basic motel for an overnight (or longer) stay. Front counter staff were really friendly and helpful, room was fine. You can help yourself to tea/coffee/ juice anytime and the breakfast was better than expected - cook your own boiled eggs, bacon, cheese, ham, yoghurt, cereals and a selection of bread and pastries. They also provided gluten free bread for me. For a cheap place to stay it was great value. We also ate at their onsite restaurant/ bar (Daytona) and the burgers were nice (GF available). The room was basic but comfortable with everything you need. Separate toilet to bathroom was a nice bonus.

A few shelves in the bathroom and shower would be an improvement

Excellent for 1 night stop, may also be confy for 2-3 nights stay in Aix-les-Bains or around. Place is quiet, parking in front of the door, beds were comfortable, airco very quiet but efficient, room was large enough, bathroom is sufficient too, a separate toilet is a big advantage for a family stay, breakfast was quite good and not too costly. Staff was nice.

Very friendly staff, modern room, comfortable bed, easy access and close to lake and other activities, affordable.

We had some blood stains on the bed sheets, but other than that it was a great visit and they apologised dearly about it

I liked that all the rooms were really separated, like small apartments. It was good cause we were with our dog so thanks to this it was very calm and it wasn’t triggered by noises and we were not afraid to bother our neighbours.
