Lovely location, a rural hamlet in a special setting on top of a hill with breathtaking views over the Lucca valley. The staff were great, the tour of the oil making facilities and villa garden very interesting. We bought some wine and oil. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfortable. The accommodation is not modern but we didn't mind as the place overall was very authentic and unpretentious.

Fattoria Gambaro was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. The restaurant was outstanding, catering to all dietary requirements. The house wine and olive oil were delicious. The pool and nearby garden were both beautiful. There was also a basketball hoop and vegetable garden which we enjoyed spending time in. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The star of the show was Vittorio - he was absolutely amazing throughout our stay. He couldn’t do enough for us and was great craic. We will definitely be back to stay here.

The breakfast was basic but all you needed to get you going in the morning. Not a dislike but just to highlight - you definitely need a car when staying here. Everything else was perfect.

We consider the stay very successful! Beautiful location of the facility (although the access to the top and the exit from it is very steep and dangerous), very friendly and helpful employees. Spacious, tidy room, towels changed daily and bed made. On the plus side, there is a restaurant in front of the facility and a large, deep swimming pool nearby, just in time for hot days. We heartily recommend <3

There was no air conditioning in the room, it was very hard to sleep on hot days ... Breakfasts were very good, but could be a bit more varied, we missed some cold cuts / cheese and vegetables.

A wonderful place to be. The owners love their place and so do we. The setting is wonderful too: olive trees, vineyards, horses, the place even has its own fresh water spring. We had a great time, enjoyed the pool, the view from it, the breakfast (simple and good), the restaurant (great food in a great setting). Almost more Tuscan than Tuscany itself.

We came with two young children. Although well fenced off, the road is something to be wary of, this didn't turn out to be a problem.

Beautiful location with a fantastic view of the valley. If you want to relax, this is the right place for you. They also serve very good dinner and the people are extreme friendly and helpful. We come back every year !!!

Rooms are very clean and well appointed. Swimming pool, garden and view are amazing. Restaurant on the premise is very good, and good value for money. Staff is friendly and professional. Location is really good for both combining culture, beach and wineries (Montecarlo).

Breakfast can be called basic, but coffee was good. No air conditioning, but screened windows and fan made our stay comfortable.

The Fattoria is charming. The rooms are clean and functional, the restaurant is very good. Their home produced wine and oil are excellent.

Their olive grove was magical with horses and hundred od fireflies blinking during the night. Very beautiful and peaceful place with very welcoming and polite hosts.

There is no restaurant so we had to go to nearby village to get food. But their own wine (red) was very good.

The accommodation was traditional and well-equipped. The pool and views were spectacular and the hosts were very welcoming.
