The Villa brings you back in the 18th century. High ceilings and doors,old paintings/probably replicas/ on the walls,old statues and furniture everywhere. A lot of common halls and corners one can sit and enjoy the peacefulness and calmness of this old entity.Beautiful,vast greens and gardens around. And let’s not forget the fantastic big swimming pool,which is more than enough for the only 12 rooms and suites in the villa.

The villa offers a very nice breakfast,everything fresh and tasty,but…For lunch and around the pool one can order only drinks and a couple of simple sandwiches,no fruits and soups if you want to stay longer in the place. No dinners offered although in Calci and around a couple of very nice places offer different cuisine. Worth mentioning is San Bernardo restaurant high in the mountains with remarkable cuisine and stunning view over Pizza by night.

Absolutely peaceful property. Couple of notes.. Black mold in shower. Otherwise extremely clean. Bed is not the quality you would expect. Due to distance to town with no walking path and lots of cars, I suggest they provide late afternoon beverages, substantial panini and fruit. We had to beg a ride off a stranger to get home in the dark as not safe to walk on dark country road. It would also be nice to have beverages available at the pool and large towels. This would just elevate the experience to match the gorgeous setting!

Would be great if they had a driver they could call on for brief excursions or transfer to airport. Mattress needs to be upgraded. But bedding and room spectacular!

The location is peaceful and beautiful, with wonderful views out over fields and the mountains. Luca and Pisa no more than 30 minute drive away. The villa is spectacular, with sculpture, fountains and a fabulous garden - archetypal Italian grandeur and character which we love. Good breakfast, very comfortable bed and lovely hot shower. Our suite was fantastic - spacious and characterful, with 2 bathrooms and a hot tub on the terrace, which had wonderful views. The pool is stunning and has wonderful views. There are plenty of sun loungers by the pool and it was a peaceful place to be as there were no children 😊 Several lovely restaurants a short drive away.

The gardens are beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. The pool was large and cleaned every morning. Breakfast was exceptional. Our room was even better than we were expecting from the photos. Staff very helpful. The property and gardens have huge authenticity and character - modernisation and alterations have been done with sympathy and care. Great views of the surrounding hills. Lucca is definitely worth a days visit. We managed to get a table at Butterfly - unforgettable!

Nothing really. Small point - the door to our room was a bit fiddly to lock and unlock and didn’t feel secure .. but it’s an old door and is part of the character of the property

We arrived late eveving on a Tuesday, Allessia kept contact with us and came to reception to give us the room key and the next day she wrote down the wine shops ans restaurants in the village, super friendly and helpful ! Sandra recommend us to a local shop in Calci to get local produced olive oil, We feel the hospitality and kindness from all the working staff in VillaScorci, mostly, we are impressed with how well they maintain this historical building , it was impressive ! We highly recommend this property if you are in Pisa adea, Amina & Ernest

This place was really something. Once you are there, you feel like in another century but in a good way. You can walk around and make pictures everywhere, because this place is so beautiful. It was great experience for us. And the breakfast was one of the best we had in whole Italy. We really enjoyed fresh and homemade croissants and another pastries. It was very tasty! We loved the pool, our room was clean, spacious, with a nice view to the garden.

Villa is in the middle of nothing and if you want to walk during the night you just do not have were to go and we were told is not very safe either. Villa has no restaurant for lunch or dinner so you need to go somewhere else and go by car. Even thought we were aware of it was quite annoying. Pool was closing at 7pm so if you want to spend a day sightseeing in another cities, you probably won´t be able to refresh yourself in the pool after.

Basically everything, for us the accommodation was very wonderful. The building, the pool, something fabulous. The garden, the sculptures give something fantastic atmosphere.

I would rather just give advice, which for me was a bit "negative" that the breakfast could be a bit more varied, because after 3 days it is a bit monotonous to have the same, but in return very tasty everything and it especially adds that a lot of products come from their own garden.

Villa Scorzi was a beautiful enchanting villa in Calci with beautiful views of The Tuscan Hills. I asked about the history of the villa and was told it was a restored 14th century building . I would have liked to have known more about the building and its history. The rooms were lovely and clean and the towels were changed every day. The breakfast was really nice and you could get a light lunch from 12:30 - 5pm . We didn’t see much of the staff but a lovely young man served us drinks by the pool at lunchtime and set us a lovely table under the olive trees in the shade. He was very polite and friendly and after chatting with him he recommended a nearby restaurant for us to eat that night which was called Villamorosa which was a short drive away. I booked this villa as a surprise for my husbands 60 th birthday, it was very quiet and peaceful and not too far from Lucca and Pisa . The villa called a taxi for us and it was about 20 mins to Pisa which was a lovely day out. We also visited Florence but that was a much longer journey, a taxi to Pisa and then a train journey approx 40 mins to Florence. I would highly recommend this villa for a peaceful and relaxing stay , it was beautiful! Thank you

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The property was built in the 13th century and converted to a hotel about 20 years ago. The grounds are phenomenal and the rooms are majestic. Every morning we were treated with a delicious breakfast with table service. The manager of the property was kind enough to give us a 30 minute historic tour of the grounds and the buildings, including a small chapel that most guests do not get to see. This was by far the best accommodations we experienced in our whole two week trip of Italy.

Location, cleanliness, gardens, pool, parking security, and the sense of tranquillity.

You have to carry your own bags as the elevator does not stop on every floor and no help was offered. Leaking shower, and I had to clean the room A/c filter as it was blocked. On booking, it states that this is an adult only (18 and over), and we had families with children and crying babies in the breakfast room. The room electricity system is not up to standard as we had running floor extensions to supply light to the bedside tables. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend it.
