Very friendly helpful staff who made available a motel room that was pet friendly. Easy check in after driving all day and great shower with good water pressure.Clean room with basic needs such as microwave and plates etc. Flat screen TV with netflix and comfortable beds. Grassed area to walk the dog and in town, so walking distance to eat dinner. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Broken Hill with my dog.

At one stage someone was smoking outside and the smell of cigarettes was quite strong in our room but, the smell cleared after awhile and didnt cause any problems.

The location was perfect for me, a short walk from the tourist information centre and key sites, with lovely walks along the Main Street, also with a wonderful bakery diagonally across the road. The staff were eminently friendly and efficient. The room was wonderfully spacious, well-appointed and clean. It was also particulary good value for money.

The Wifi could do with a booster. Whenever there was a ute between my room and the router, which was the case most nights, my Wifi did not work. There were chairs outside the room with the booster where I could access Wifi, but in winter, that soon became chilly.

It had everything needed for a short or long stay. AC worked great in the big room with separate kitchen and ensuite. Parking is outside the door. Bed and bedding was great. A very good night's sleep. Biscuits and real milk as well. Small fridge and not a typical bar fridge. Staff were friendly

A little dated but was made up for it by the attention to detail and shampoo and soaps offered. Google location was a little confusing as I drove past the driveway.not an issue really

Confusion on arrival. The office was not staffed. An email told us to go across the road to the Broken Hill Tourist Lodge, 100 Argent St, where the office will be open. It was closed. I rang the number on the email. There was a recorded message that they were not available. Fortunately they rang back after a few minutes and said that I needed to put in my phone number into the contactless key box and we would get our key. That worked and the room was so good we forgot about the inconvenience. We just needed that information on the email.

Easy to check in at anytime with the key box, room was clean and well presented, air conditioner was already on for us and there were icy cold water bottles ready to go in the fridge, had a great nights sleep - very happy!

No fault of the property at all, but both sides of us were smokers and smoking was encouraged with ash trays directly in front of the rooms, we could smell it really strong in our room (even with no windows or door open, not great with my 8 yr old asthmatic with us.

Very easy to get to. Free parking right outside the door. There was just a box with the keys in it and to get the key we simply had to enter our mobile number and voila! Very quick and easy. The shower is AMAZING! The A/C was already switched on, which was a nice touch. Comfy beds and pretty quiet, even though the motel is right in the middle of town. There is a microwave. All motels need this feature!

The bench was a bit sticky. Not terrible, though. We washed all of the dishes with the supplied shampoo before we used them, but maybe that's just us...! :-)

Location. Basic old time motel but very clean and good no-problems communication. Manager extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing to worry about. Functional. Good value by comparison with the other accommodation. Close to meal venues. A good taste of Broken Hill

There was nothing I didn't like. It all worked. Everything in the room worked. It was exactly as I expected.

I liked the location of this hotel. It was central to the main street, and everything we needed for our one night stay. The free parking was a bonus. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. When I had trouble getting the key from the lockbox, I rang the number and the receptionist helped me through it, but that was the only contact I had with anyone. She was very nice and helpful.

I like reception face to face contact, and this was a key in a lockbox at 2pm. No option to see if the room is ready just a little earlier, like with some places and no face to face contact. I understand the reasoning behind this because a lot of places do it now, but I don't like it.

Great location on the main Argent street. Near Tourist Info office and easy walk to historic buildings, Art Gallery, pubs and shops. Dated fit out but roomy, comfortable and clean. WiFi and Netflix. Nice staff. Contactless check in by phone number worked easily. Stayed 29 Sep to 2 Oct 2024 and would like to return to BH and this motel.

Might have used a clothes washing machine if there was one available.

We were running late and it was so hot. It was lovely to find the air-conditioning turned on for us , it was so cool

Room is of an older style but one of the neater of the rooms we stayed at on the road east to west. I or code for the wifi would be good password was long and complicated, great for a password not easy for old eyes. Second stay wifi wasn't available on our list of available connections.
