Desk staff were courteous and helpful. They were able to give us a room even though the reservation was for the following night— and they did not penalize us. We were exhausted from a long drive in a massive storm, and quickly checked us in. The hotel was barebones but squeaky clean, also quiet in a countryside setting. Excellent value!

Hard to find in the Vicksburg hills with the wandering frontage road, even with GPS. But that’s true of most hotels in the area which are hidden from view on the interstate

Usually when I see an ambulance in front of a business I take it as a bad sign. As I checked in I came to understand a guest was having some stomach distress and medical aid had been summoned. A desk clerk was comforting the patient throughout and showed genuine concern for his well being. I don't think too much about what I would do if I became ill while on a trip but if I ever do I hope I am staying in Vicksburg at the Super8.

The location while great for exploring the civil war battlefield , was not handy to food venues which required a short drive.

I did not like the picture on the wall of the cotton I do know it represents the state of Mississippi, but also brought back memories of my ancestors having to pick cotton or a little or no money and to see that picture 😞

Everything else was very nice including the staff.

Staff was super friendly. Apologized for not having more for the "free' breakfast, (Covid safety). Offered to make fresh coffee if I wanted upon my late (after 11 pm) arrival, and genuinely made me feel welcomed. At check out, the staff was also friendly, engaged in a brief conversation, (thanked me for staying, invited me back), unlike the usual non-eye contact that I receive at most places I stay, and apologized for the bad direction on Google maps. If coming from exit 1, get back on interstate 20- DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS! Big THANK YOU for the hospitality!

GOOGLE MAPS gave incorrect directions, but made my way back to the interstate easily upon check out! No fault of facility!

There was no breakfast it was very misleading in regards to the breakfast this is one of my only complaints I would’ve had a cup of coffee but they only had powdered creamer which is very cheap and not really something I enjoy

I did not eat breakfast the morning of my stay. I did drink coffee.👍

I have no complaints… I had a good nights rest in a very quiet and peaceful room.

Close to Vicksburg military park

Free breakfast was advertised. But there was NO breakfast except for a few packaged muffins

NA did not eat breakfast which was packaged muffins and coffee.

Pool was not as clean as it should have been.

The room had a Stale Odor

The location to the Military park was right next to it.

No Coffee pot in room. The tub was very slick to take a shower in.
