Wonderful Stay at Parma & Oriente – Highly Recommended! I stayed at Parma & Oriente for 13 days and had a very pleasant experience. The reception staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The housekeeping team did an impeccable job—my room was consistently clean and comfortable throughout my stay. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed place to stay.

This hotel was our base for exploring Montecatini Terme and Florence for 5 day and it was great. The hotel is really charming and room was lovely. Breakfast was really great with lots of variety of food - from salads, cheeses, yoghurts to fruits, all kinds of bread and pastry and of course some meat products too. One night we also had a dinner in hotel restaurant and it was really great - tasty and pared with some excellent wine plus excellent service. Staff in hotel is really wonderful - polite, helpful and always with a smile. Hotel is in the center of Montecatini Terme - 10 minutes walk from the railway an bus station and 10 minutes walk from funicular to Montecatini Alto. All recommendations!

Everything was really great!

Good location, lovely pool, friendly staff. Decent breakfast. We had the room with the sun terrace which was lovely to sit outside and relax on. The room itself was comfortable but not a lot of space to put 2 suitcases, we needed to put them in the floor and shuffle them around a bit, otherwise very happy. Lovely cleaning lady, very friendly. Good air conditioning that wasn’t too noisy which was greatly appreciated due to the heatwave.

A couple of the outside areas very a little tired, the odd tiles kept coming off in the pool. We were only b&b which I was gal off because the dinner menu looked rather limited, although as we didn’t eat there for dinner, couldn’t comment on the quality. However, I wouldn’t want to say I didn’t like it in any way, these were just observations if being picky!

Loved absolutely everything… Grazia, Stefania, Giulia, the whole family, absolutely charming. We stayed for two weeks and it felt like home. I swam in the pool and had it completely to myself for two weeks! There is a staircase downstairs to the sauna/massage room, and a porthole to see underwater in the swimming pool. My partner took some wonderful photos of me swimming! All the food and drink was excellent, we had a beautiful room at the back of the hotel with a balcony overlooking the pool and the lemon-tree filled garden. It is a place where you can completely relax… the hotel and the town of Montecatini. The pace of life is very soothing. Lots of places to visit nearby… the funicular up to Montecatini Alto, we also went to Pistoia, Lucca, Florence and Siena… all fabulous, the hotel a wonderful base with train stations, shops, cafes and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Perfect!

The location from the train station. The outside and inside spaces were excellent. We enjoyed the pool area The rooms. All meals. The staff were very amenable. The ambience. We would definitely recommend this hotel and the area to visit. We have travelled by train through France and Switzerland and into Italy. We have stayed at 8 hotels and 2 self-catering places. This has been the best hotel of our holiday, by far. Well done, Parma E Oriente!

Really lovely location with a fabulous outside pool area. Good breakfast, always lots available with great customer service. The reception staff were very helpful and the hotel room was cleaned every day to a good standard.

The room was a little smaller than expected for a superior room. A better explanation of the facilities including charging plugs by the reception upon arrival would have helped. More hooks in the room and a new hairdryer would be a bonus.

I absolutely loved my stay at Parma e Oriente! The minute my friend and I walked in the door, we felt like we were "home." The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with bright and cheerful furnishings. There are cozy places to sit both inside and out. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and their adult children any they are all gracious hosts. They take pride in their business and it shows. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. The decor has a feminine feel with hand-painted furnishings and beautiful artwork. I had a nice view over the sparkling pool and the weather was perfect so I was able to leave my windows open for a fresh breeze. I loved the waterfall shower as it was larger than many showers I've encountered in Italy. There were ample towels, another touch you don't always see when traveling. I had both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the food was excellent! It took us about 15 minutes to walk (with luggage) from the train station and it was an easy, flat walk. The location of the hotel was ideal for visiting all the town's attraction. It was a short walk to the central square in one direction and in the other direction, we were able to reach the funicular to Montecatini Alto in less than 15 minutes. The stunning Tettuccio Spa in right up the road. I can't wait to come back and bring a group of friends. This hotel is perfect for singles, couples and groups traveling together. I highly recommend it!
