The location of the hotel is really nice. It's on a very quiet small street, but you can get to the city center easily using e.g. metro 52 or tram 4, and the Albert Cuyp market and grocery stores are just around the corner. The room and the common areas were very clean and in good condition. Staff was friendly, and I loved the cozy atmosphere at breakfast, where certain foods were made on request and brought to your table. I traveled with a family, and the room for four people had a tall yet sturdy non-creaking bunk bed that easily catered for two adult-sized teenagers. Would visit again.

I have a hard time thinking of anything. Other reviewers mention that the rooms are small, which is kind of true, but I didn't go to Amsterdam to spend that much time in the hotel room, so that didn't bother me. I'd choose this hotel over some boring chain hotel with bigger rooms any day.

Room was small but cozy. The bathroom was fantastic, spotlessly clean with a ‘wet room’ type feel. Good quality coffee machine in the room with plenty of coffee and creamer readily available. Peaceful room. Lovely, soft comfortable beds. The hotel is located in a very nice, safe & peaceful, upmarket area, 5 minutes walk to the metro & 2 stops to Centraal station. There’s easy access from the hotel to key tourist destinations, including the Rijksmuseum which is an easy 10 minute stroll. In fact, it is perfectly feasible to walk everywhere in the entire city from here, which is what we did, but lots of public transport nearby for those who prefer. I loved this hotel and would (will) definitely stay there again.

It’s small, but the overhead shower head would benefit from descaling to increase the water flow. Also, it would be lovely to be able to open windows which are locked to customers, so you are reliant on air conditioning. Apart from that there’s nothing that we didn’t like.

I have stayed here twice in the past, the last time being 2009. Good location with a tram stop nearby and/or a pleasant walk into the centre alongside the canals. Two branches of a popular supermarket within easy walking distance

We had booked a twin room (number 14) which was ridiculously tiny and no space whatsover between the two beds. On the first afternoon when we arrived, we were told there were no alternatives available. However, on the second day, the amazing receptionist called Nash not only secured a better room for us but he and the housekeeper moved all our belongings into the new room.

Breakfast was great, everything fresh, some homemade baked goods everyday plus they cook your eggs or pancake on the spot and the way you like it. The hotel looked relatively new or has bene recently renovated and is well kept. It was a very easy and enjoyable walk to downtown and around ten minutes walk from nearest metro station. Room was beautifully decorated, very clean (throughout our stay) and it looked in an alley so it was quiet. Staff was very friendly and eager to help when asked.

The room was very small, you could not open your suitcase unless it was set on the bed and there was no room to keep toiletries on/around the sink. Also, only shampoo and shower gel were available, no conditioner or body cream or any other amenities really, except for soap.

The property was very spacious. The plugs had slots of USB & USB C which was great as we had forgot to bring adapters. The shower had 2 heads. A handheld and over head. The curtains were black out there was no light peeping through. The location is around 20ish minutes from local restaurants and 30+ mins to the centre ( this is by walking ). The staff were Amazing, allowed us to have early check in - complimentary drinks of arrival. The hotel overall was very quiet. We didn’t hear any other guests whilst we stayed.

Everything was like expected. The location is close to some tram lines (about 15' to the touristy center), coffee places, supermarket, etc. It's away from the 'trashy' touristy locations. Hotel is pretty, like a boutique hotel, great amenities (coffee machine, USB ports, etc), in a quiet street. Rooms are tight but enough if you have small luggage and only stay a few nights. We didn't have noise issues. Street and neighbors were quiet. We didn't try the breakfast. We paid 149,00€ for two + an extra bed. We stayed one night.

The extra bed a little bit tight if you sleep several nights on it. For a child it's enough.

The hotel is in a great location towards the south of the city centre. It’s a quieter pretty residential area but only 2 mins walk from a tram stop and 10 mins walk from a metro stop so you are well connected or 20 mins walk into central area. The hotel seems new or newly renovated, the decor is lovely and fresh. Everywhere was very clean. The space in the room is limited (we shared a 3 person room) but made it work for 3 nights. Super comfortable beds and warm room. The room is equipped with a tv showing some English channels, and a nespresso coffee machine was a nice bonus! The hotel was so quiet we hardly saw any other guests and didn’t hear anything apart from the tram occasionally at night. I would definitely stay again when in Amsterdam! We loved it. Didn’t interact much with the staff but they were very friendly and helpful. Nice to be able to store bags for the day after check out too.

The only small downside was noise of running water in the bathroom at night. The hotel was so quiet you could hear it but not a big problem. The drains in the shower did also smell especially on a morning. Again not a huge problem really.

The room is super comfortable, clean and has everything you might need. Lots of storage space, lovely bathroom and double bed is bigger than it looks on pictures! Lovely view of the street with big openable windows. Great location and very friendly 24/7 concierge. No hidden charges, quick check in, check out and option to leave bags in baggage room was great!

Lovely, clean and modern. Always friendly staff at reception. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to some bars and just 20 mins walk to the centre. An ideal location, quiet yet lovely neighbourhood. Free coffee at any time from the machine in cafe area.

Room was pretty small, no drawers or shelves to keep folded items of clothes but lovely, clean and modern. Although the room was small, it worked well for our four day trip, any longer we might’ve struggled with the size. Sometimes it could be noisy with cleaning in other rooms but thats our fault so sleeping in so late!

Breakfast was simple but all I needed. Made to order eggs or pancakes daily which was very nice. Coffee machine /cappuccinos made available to us throughout the day. Location was within 5 min of subway or tram. Walking distance to centrum (20 min) and museums (10 min). Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but so is every room in Amsterdam from what I hear.

It was not the hotel's fault but there was construction in the next building - it only made noise in the daytime when we were out and about anyways.
