An obviously well run smaller hotel. Location was perfect, proprietor and staff warm and welcoming. Sea view rooms definitely recommended. Excellent restaurant where our window table was kept ready for us each evening. Very accommodating staff who all tried their best with our halting French, and outshone us with their English.

Lounge bar furniture needs a rethink : sofas and some chairs too rigid, others giving at seams. Room layout meant we often had to move furniture to suit our party of four, but this was cheerfully accommodated by staff.

Bathroom items were missing and not replaced until several requests made Bar closed early on Sunday evening , we were informed by telephone as we were out, but not expected as we were residents with 4 rooms

The position is superb over looking the sea, we upgraded to a room with a balcony and it was well worth it Excellent restaurant with delicious food choices and good wine list,the staff are charming and professional Good selection at breakfast apart from the small pastries A very nice stay

The stairs are rather steep luckily we were on the first floor, we live in a bungalow and at 78 I managed well but could be a problem if disabled as there is no lift Everything else was great

We were given rooms with views of the beach, the English Channel, and the flags above the memorial to the North Shore Regiment. The manager was excellent. The breakfast was exceptional. The hotel is well located for travelers visiting the D-Day sites. As Canadians, we were touched that the hotel and the town participated in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. We will come here again.

There was nothing that we did not like.

We stayed here in the middle of winter, great location right on the beach, especially I would think in the summer. Our first room was tiny, we complained and they moved us to a much larger room which was great. At this time of year the town is a bit quiet, not many restaurants open so we were limited for choice.

We arrived late off the ferry. Instructions for arrival were really easy to follow. Amazing location - we wanted to stay longer! Clean and there was a bottle of water, tea and coffee.

No milk for drinks but that was picky! The room was great for a night. It was small and would not have been good for longer than a couple of nights.

Very friendly staff. A lovely beachfront location and we booked a sea view room with a balcony. A very French hotel and resort - if you understand what I mean. We had dinner at the hotel and it was a great meal in a beautiful room.

Nothing really although the room and the bathroom was on the small side.

Location. Good private car park. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Two flights of steep spiral staircase! I was very disappointed by the main course at dinner. Filet de bar was quite good but the diced vegetables were extremely unappetising. This was disappointing as the entrée of foie gras was delicious as were the Normandy cheeses and the tarte tatin to finish.

Nice Reception/Bar and Restaurant decor. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location.

My daughters room was not ready and there were some cleaning issues. However I mentioned this to the Hotel Receptionist and she reduced our bill for us, and was most apologetic.

Excellent position and the balcony was a complete terrace. Great night's sleep. Restaurant staff efficient and knowledgeable, reception very friendly. Evening dinner excellent, choice from two priced menus. We had steak tartare and bouillabaise. Great location for DDay memorials and just enjoyment of the beach and surrounding countryside, or one night stay on way to or from other locations further south - we were on our way to Le Mans for 24hr. Free WiFi.

Couldn't find a TV channel for Roland Garros tennis on tv- but as WiFi was free, watched online!
