This was a great deal for a great small hotel right behind a wonderful and relatively quiet and empty beach in Huatulco (you need to walk past a few private beach clubs to reach the public entrance to the beach)! The hotel itself is very casual and very comfortable, and my room (the junior suite) was huge--it's really two rooms (though with no door in between them). Everything was very clean, and the air conditioning was excellent. It was also great to have a minifridge! And the location is terrific: walking distance to la Crucecita and to Chahue Bay, where I was able to swim easily despite reviews I had read stating that the currents were too strong there for swimming. I would definitely stay here again!

The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been blackout shades that block out all the light in the morning.

Location is perfect for walking - Santa Cruz is easy to get to and you are very close to Playa Chahue. It's a beautiful hotel with a lovely pool. Our room was located on the 3rd floor and a little farther away from the pool area which was a bonus. Really nice restaurant with good choices on the menu and the breakfast buffet was stellar. Staff was very helpful when needed. Housekeeping was impeccable. We would happily choose to stay here again!

We're used to a softer mattress but were aware that it was common in Mexico to have firmer mattresses, so we weren't surprised. As I said, we would come back, so not a big issue.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Very nice room with balcony. Hot shower with great pressure. Very nice onsite restaurant, competitive pricing, great service and tasty dishes. Good AC in the room. Tour services onsite, good options and pickup was generally on time. Close to the public beach, Chedraui and walking distance to downtown and the peer. Beautiful pool at the hotel.

The view from the balcony (room 402) was overlooking the parking lot. May be a bit overpriced, but that is just my opinion.

Enjoyed our stay! Comfy bed, spacious room, refrigerator and coffee! Water provided daily! Our maid did an excellent job at keeping our room tidy. Food was good, staff very helpful, even with my lousy Spanish! We will return!

Only thing that needs a bit of improvement/ the pool chemicals/ are off! Pool was a bit cloudy. Wish they had a sun area on the roof! The pool gets very little sun, as it’s blocked by the buildings.

Very friendly staff, excellent service with rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels, pool towels, and water day, restaurant in hotel was great, good food, service and open from breakfast through to dinner. Clean pool and lounging area. Walking distance to beach and some shops, affordable driver service available at the hotel with friendly local drivers.

The pool was fabulous. The little balconies are very convenient.

The ceiling fan was unbalanced, therefore it was noisy. They had to change the unit totally because of the motor noise, but it still was unbalanced. The air conditioner unit blew cold air down on the beds and it was also uncomfortable. I asked the maintenance guy to fix it, but he couldn’t. So, it was too cold to have a/c on at night, and the ceiling fan was too noisy as well. Therefore, it wasn’t the best sleep.

Location is good, five minute walk from beach - it would be even nicer to be right on the beach - but that’s where more expensive hotels are. Some beautiful vegetation right next the hotel.

Fridge in room was locked. Need to pay extra to use it. Pool is often very busy. Breakfast didn’t start until 8am, and I’m very early, so went elsewhere.

Very clean ground and room, comfortable bedding, good sized junior suite, fridge restocked daily as a nice touch, friendly and accommodating staff, assigned professional idriver to get you around at competitive taxi pricing, great walkable location to Chahue and Santa Cruz beaches, Santa Cruz, La Crececita

Abit noisy in the evenings

We found the staff to be friendly and courtious. They created an efficient, but relaxed atmosphere. The food and service at the restaurant was outstanding... great coffee! The conscier helped me get a rental car by putting me in touch w an english speaking agent. They had a secure parking spot. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool was clean and uncrowded.

Maybe could have more comfortable furniture in rooms... but beds were great .

Convenient location, friendly staff and amenities in the room (fridge, coffee maker).

The only negative is the restaurant on site, which was surprisingly poor. We only ate there once but given the convenience would have done so more if the food had been better. There are many other great options nearby but the hotel would be smart to improve this area.
