Modern, minimalistic decor and tasteful. Sunbeds had large thick mattress cushions and getting one was not a problem, although I did visit in April. Staff were friendly without being annoying. I had seafaring room with a lovely view and if you like walking there was a promenade stretching for miles.

Being pestered at your table in the bar by one of the entertainers. Although this has nothing to do with the hotel the noise from the entertainer in the hotel Next door who thought he/she could sing was annoying. Even with bedroom patio doors closed I could hear every word, thankfully stopped at 10pm

Clean rooms, massive swimmingpool, fantastic staff. Food in the Greek restaurant not fantastic, better go to the Japanese place. Breakfast was good, lots of choice. Massage options ok and the 5km beachwalk into the small town of Paphos is a nice workout break from enjoying the sun on the sunbeds (plenty).

The hotel is part of a looooong chain of hotels at the same beach-walk, facing the sea. A lot of noise coming from the other hotels. There were a lot of senior/older people. The gym and beachtowels are a bit old.

I loved everything was so lovely, the people that worked there were amazing so lovely and kind. We had no issues at all. It was my partner birthday and they provided a little cake when we arrived with fruits and a bottle as well as a little birthday cake in his actual birthday with a bottle. The hotel was also absolutely amazing. The rooms were also absolutely beautiful.

I wouldn’t say there was anything I didn’t like, the only thing I would say is the indoor swimming pool was a little cold if it was heated it would have just made it absolutely perfect and the food was great as well just would have been nice to have a few more options to pick from the breakfast buffet

1 Room is nice and well equipped. Maintenance matches 5Star standard although I would have wished for better cleaning of the balcony. I appreciated the flowers though. 2 change the voice in the elevator. It gives a heart attack 3 the reception from Anna was professional, perfect and the best 5 star welcome 4 private beach is fabulous and a big plus. 5 Main restaurant : we experienced the Cyprus evening. The variety of food was great but the quality unfortunately didn’t match. The pasta was tasty but mushy, the pork too well cooked as were the schrimp-salmon skewers and the actually tasty chicken just to give a few examples . Breakfast was very good but I personally am lacking sweet good butter. Bread was delicious., croissants the first day very good and crispy. On the other days mushy. The choice of warm sausages a bit less good. I must say that waiters are outstanding doing their utmost to please and successfully do so. And that’s why I can say: coffee in every variety is perfect 6 Greek restaurant: nothing to add Perfection in terms of food and waiters. The chef outdid himself to make mushrooms without garlic, since my husband has an allergy and everyone was observant 7 Japanese restaurant good food and fantastic waiters. The Sushi rolls however were a deception. 8 evening music program is lovely. We especially enjoyed the woman fiddler and the guitarist.

Adults-only property Large room with a jacuzzi on the balcony. Older clientele which makes for a quiet evening Very friendly staff at reception. Great breakfast. The lady at the omelette station made fantastic omelettes. I liked that it was a bit further away from the town. The pool area and even outdoor restaurants were entirely non-smoking.

Some suggestions: 1. Maybe close off the property towards the beach because we saw a family with a small child wonder in. They left very quickly but that takes away from the adult-only experience. 2. One staff knocked on our door and immediately walked in rather than waiting for us to open the door for him. I just finished getting changed but it was uncomfortable. Maybe train staff to wait for guests to open the door. 3. Don’t let guests ‘reserve’ sun beds with towels. Some were reserved for hours from as early as 9 am without any guests using them. Nonetheless, these are all minor things and I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very nicely decorated, nice pool area and main restaurant, we liked very much also the Asian Fusion restaurant. Nice presents and amenities of the room. Enough space for clothing.

The sound isolation is not good - three night there was a music in the lobby and we heard it to the room, in the room next to us there was a couple who played their music a bit louder and we also had to listen to it. I would also prefer better cleaning of the room. The coffee is disaster - I would expect to get a decent cappucino in the hotel of such level.

Nice selection for breakfast, room cleanly and location not too far from Paphos. Comfy bed and it was nice to have treats such as a bottle of prosecco and chocolates each night - a nice touch.

My only compliant is that the AC was set to 18C but it definitely was not on - it was only a fan. When I complained, they sent an engineer up who proceeded to tell me it was working perfectly fine and also that it couldn't go any lower. I went in May when it was still relatively ok outside - I can't imagine coming here in the middle of summer and it still be that hot in the room. I also know what AC feels like and it 100% was not on.

This was my second stay at the hotel and I really, really hope it won't be my last! I especially liked the peace, cleanliness, personal space. The staff was great. We were very well received and looked after throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, with a partial sea view, which was a wonderful surprise. The bathroom had all the basic personal hygiene items (dental set, comb, shaving set, etc.). The room is cleaned daily, the maids are very kind and polite. Every day we found water, coffee and sweet wishes. The air conditioner cooled perfectly, and when needed it also heated the room. The balcony was a great place to relax with a book and coffee. The food was amazing. My picky son tried many new dishes and always enjoyed the food. The heated indoor pool is spacious and cozy. Loved the sauna area, especially when it was chilly outside. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy, elegant, adults-only hotel - Ivi Mare is just what you need.

My two friends and I had the pleasure of staying at ivi mare for three nights, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. They were friendly, attentive, and always eager to help with any request, making our girls' trip truly special. My friend had a birthday, so they upgraded us to a bigger sea view room with a private jacuzzi and gave us complimentary champagne and birthday cake. The breakfast was excellent, and we also highly recommend eating at the hotel Japanese restaurant. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities and attention to detail that made our stay comfortable and relaxed at all times. Overall, our experience at ivi mare was fantastic, thanks to the amazing staff and service. We can’t wait to plan our next trip!

This was our second stay at The Ivi Mare. We had a lovely stay; the staff were exceptional, they did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Cleanliness was 10 out of 10 - the staff work very hard to maintain the hotel to a very high standard. The pool area is especially lovely, with really comfortable sunbeds. The restaurant overlooks the pool area - nice at breakfast time. We did yoga again this year with Johanna - she is an amazing yoga teacher and so very friendly and accommodating to all levels, especially those who have not tried yoga. We also enjoyed walking into Paphos harbour to the cafes - about 25 minutes walk along the coastal path. We love the hotel location as it feels very private.

We loved everything about this hotel.
