Checked in was fine once I found the envelope, and to be fair, the instructions appeared a few seconds later once I had registered my later than expected arrival time ;-) . Place turned out to be quieter than expected on first impressions - the big doorway from the main public courtyard into the bedroom was a bit disconcerting at first but the noise proved to be non-existent and we were much more relaxed after we got into the room and found the other entrance :-) ). Room is neatly laid out with everything we needed and expected in placed.

Washing facility was not available (washing machine missing) which meant we had to find a public laundry to enable us to finish the trip with clean clothes. Fortunately there was one next to a restaurant we liked to use so it worked out OK.

Very well appointed, had everything we needed. Nice that they all have balconies so you get a bit of outside space to enjoy. Staff were all super helpful and nothing too much trouble. Very near a lovely beach and a couple of nice pubs! Also you have designated parking outside the apartment

A little basic for my personal style, but in essence, what is advertised is very clear so it wasn’t unexpected and I have no complaints about that as I knew what I was booking. A little warmer, more atmospheric table lighting might be a nicer touch rather than the cold white, low-energy, overhead lighting that makes the room feel rather cold and stark in the evening.

Good location, close to the beach, a great Cafe and fish and chip shop. Kitchen amenities were great. Double sized bed was difficult to get used to and for me, far too hard, but I am fussy. Linen was beautiful and clean. One air-conditioner for an entire unit, including an upstairs bathroom and two bedrooms, was inadequate. On a warm, humid day, additional air-conditioning at least in the bedrooms so you can sleep comfortably is needed. Overall, the room has been partially renovated; the bathrooms are ok but starting to look a bit tired. Staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Floors need a bit more cleaning...found multiple collections of biscuits and crackers that were left behind the beds and tv unit. For the price though, it was pretty good value.

We recently stayed in an executive suite at The Pelicans in Albany and had a wonderful experience. The suite was impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The lady who checked us in was warm and friendly, which set a positive tone for our stay. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the stunning Middleton Beach—making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was also very quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated.

If I had one suggestion, it would be to replace the small ablution bottles with larger, wall-mounted dispensers for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. These are much easier to use and are becoming standard in many hotels.

Unit was in a great location close to Middleton beach which had a protected swimming area. Unit was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Best shower we have had this holiday. Several eating options close by, we had breakfast at the cafe around the corner but didn’t get to try the one at the beach. Also had dinner at the Hybla tavern. Nice view and best burger we have had in quite a while. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Nothing really just that the position of our unit had a lot of cars in front of it so it could be a bit noisy in the morning but I would still stay there again and recommend it.

Great location, close to Middleton beach and a couple of good cafes. Apartment was basic but very clean.

I’d recommend bringing earplugs as the plumbing was very noisy. We were in a downstairs apartment and could clearly hear every time the apartment above us used the bathroom. The bedroom was also right next to neighbouring parking spots and so we were sometimes woken up when it was busy. The room felt more like a basic room rather than an executive apartment and we felt the price was a bit high, but recognise it is peak season.

It was nice and close to the beach which was so convenient with a few coffee shops and drinking/food locations within walking distance. The property itself was a great size for a family (2 adults, 2 kids) specifically the 2 level apartment we had as we all felt like we had our own space when we needed it.

The only issue we had is we weren’t sure that we could get the oven working - the grill worked perfectly fine, perhaps it was user error, but other than that it was perfect 👌🏻

The inside of the apartment was lovely, clean and had everything we expected. Comfortable bed and lovely shower.

When I booked I did expect a balcony with french doors. I understand some of the rooms are on the ground floor but ours did not have french doors which was a disappointment. We did have rain and cloudy weather so had to stay inside not able to sit on a balcony, at least French doors would have put more light into the room and we could have had them open, we only had a normal door.

We LOVED our stay at Pelicans. Four nights over the ANZAC day weekend. Albany was super busy and beautiful Middleton Beach was glorious. Our apartment was perfect for the two of us and the bed was so comfy! We did a few hikes over the four days and I can say the comfy bed was very welcoming after Bluff Knoll. Walking distance to some nice cafes and restaurants/wine bars also. We will definitely be back to Pelicans! Great place to stay.

The couch in the lounge room is way too small for two people. Stairs up to apartment after Bluff Knoll were a killer - but that’s our fault not Pelicans! Still highly recommend.

We arrived at Pellican bit late and reception welcome us with big smile and assist us gently. The apartment that we got is spacious, clean , well organised and most importantly feel like 'HOME'. We love it so much! Definately will recomend other friends and family to stay here for future vacations. It's a shame only one night and early morning check up with another amazing smile from reception just made our trip even unforgetful memories.
