The apartment was well located near Middleton Beach (10 minute walk) and out of the centre of town which was what i wanted. It also had laundry facilities which I needed after 8 days on the road. It was also the first property in 8 days to have a means to warm the room. This contributed enormously to my ability to sleep well and feel comfortable. I also appreciated being able to get meals from nearby restaurants and put the cost on my room charge.

For me nothing. Some people may have wanted to be closer to the beach but in winter that didn't bother me.

Super spacious and comfortable, great location, easy parking, great staff, nice toiletries provided, REALLY comfortable bed, plenty of tea, coffee and milk provided. I absolutely would stay again, especially considering the free upgrade!

Minor: the only thing that needed improvement was the dishwasher - we put it on and it didn't clean, so we put it on again and still didn't do a good job - the crockery we put it in wasn't exactly caked in grime, and washed off without effort when we eventually just did it by hand. And the wheels on the drawer buckled when you loaded it - whole thing needs replacing. That was the only nuisance though, everything else was wonderful.

I mistakenly booked for a week in advance of my arrival date. The staff kindly arranged to put us in alternative accommodation due to the apartment we booked being occupied and instead gave us an entire house at no extra charge. The place was massive and beautiful! Could not have asked for anything better even though it was just my partner and I! Accomodation was clean tidy and beautifully furnished. Will 100% be using these guys again! Thank you to the staff at dolphin lodge! 5 starts

When we arrived late The key was left hidden for us I rang to confirm we’d arrived & the owner said to me “this will be the nicest place you’ve ever stayed in!” I laughed to myself thinking “I doubt it” Guess what he was spot on Everything was spotless, the ammenities were exactly what we needed. We loved it! We’d only planned to stay one night but because Albany has so many wonderful places to visit we inquired about staying an extra night Despite the WA public holiday we were approved to stay again We will be recommending Dolphin Cove to anyone visiting Albany Can’t go wrong Staff were pleasant and helpful

The welcome greeting from the reception staff always sets the stay off to a great start and the staff are all so friendly. The apartment had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was well appointed and even had a small complimentary milk in the fridge.The bed was comfy and the unit was very spacious. There is a washer and dryer in the share laundry paid by credit card at a very reasonable price. Would have loved to have had a longer stay at this beautiful location. This unit would be fantastic for two couples travelling together as it had 2 bedrooms.

It was all perfect.

We, two seniors, booked into Dolphin Lodge for 2 nights and after picking up the keys we were instructed to go to Monets on Middleton, 2 doors down. It definitely was an upgrade as there were 3 bedrooms upstairs (only used one) and a Spa (which we didnt use) Everything neat and tidy, clean linen and comfortable bed. It was cold the first night but then found the oil heater for the second night. The apartment had every thing needed.

We did ask for a ground floor room but fortunately we arent that old to manage the stairs! Only 2 small complaints. The floor mat in the lounge room had one edge folding over and I almost tripped on it. Easy for someone to fix. The kitchen sink tap was leaking a bit.

Everything about our stay was great! The apartment was excellent - spacious, clean, warm, well-appointed kitchen, clean bathroom with endless hot water, nice balcony with view up the hill above us and well located, just 200 metres to Middleton Beach. The lodge is only a few minutes drive to Albany CBD, many tourist attractions and shopping centres. There is plenty of parking onsite and it even has a charging-point for EVs. The winter rate is exceptionally good value for this quality accommodation.

Nothing - all good!

I travel a lot for work and have stayed in many nice hotels and apartments, including for example The Fullerton in Sydney. This is up there with the best. It was perfect! Location was spectacular, it was immaculately clean, it had every facility and was incredibly comfortable. It felt homely and I slept deeply. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I didn't want to leave.

I'm just being nitpicky but when I was running a little late to check in and I let them know the response was a little abrupt. This isn't a big deal at all. The place was magnificent and I had an incredibly wonderful stay.

Everything here was great. Well appointed and clean 2 bed apartment perfectly fit the family, and had all the little things we needed (toiletries, tea/coffee, dishwasher) but felt independent and private like a holiday house. Location right near the beach and a fish n chip shop, ice cream window, and cafe was perfect for a long weekend with the kids. The staff were friendly from what I could tell - check in and out was super easy and we didn't have any issues we needed to approach them about so my interactions were minimal but positive. For the price point it was far above what I had hoped for and we will be back again.

Struggling for a negative - one couch was a little bit droopy in the middle (especially compared to the other which was super comfy!).
