1) the location: the B&B is just in front of different beaches, public and private, and only 8’ walking time away from the old town 2) the room: not particularly big but really convenient, well equipped, with a beautiful interior design and a big terrasse 3) the host: helpful and flexible. He came to the B&B just to let us in around 3 hours before the planned check-in and when the AC broke for a while he has offered us an alternative accommodation.

Not really a minus, more of an heads-up: 1) the parking: to get to the B&B you need to access a ZTL (Zona Traffico Limitato, area with limited traffic). You can do so and you even get a prepaid card from the B&B to park the car for free just around the hotel but I would have preferred to know it in advance. 2) the breakfast: this is freshly made by the host, based on a pre-selected menu. No buffet available, so no option to have a quick breakfast

Nothing about the property itself but we were staying during the exceptional Cerberus and Charon heatwaves ( 37c +), which made it too uncomfortable to use our balcony (after7am) whilst the sun remained on it - a shame as it was a delight. Bathroom was a little small, perhaps. The extreme weather conditions also impacted the air conditioning in the building but that was hardly the B&B’s fault and Matteo went out if his way to be helpful.

we really enjoyed the staying there. the location is great to get to the sea. less than one minute walk.to get to the old down 10 min walk and surrounded with restaurants and supermarket. the owner of the appartamento is super great and nice man. he is so nice. we wanted to check in earlier and he arrived on time that we agreed, helped with our luggages to get up. the breakfast that he cooked for us everyday was super delicious and with love. even when we saw us was asking if we need his help or anything else. room was with balcony to the sea view. cleaning everyday, fresh and beautiful. we were so happy with staying there and definitely will be back to his appartamento. if I rate I could give 100 stars to the service. grazie mille! :)

Perfect location across the narrow road to the sea. The room was small but extremely comfortable and newly renovated in a very stylish manner. There was a lovely terrace with comfortable furniture to enjoy breakfast and views. Our host Matteo was very friendly and welcoming. He made us very delicious breakfasts. The 15th Century castle here is breathtaking

Our host Matteo met us for access into his B&B. Excellently furnished room overlooking a beach and harbour. Balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast is produced professionally by our host Matteo, and excellent. Lots of choices with bars and restaurants especially in old town. Lovely walk to harbour.

This B&B is up several flights of stairs on second floor, no lift. Parking a little difficult when busy.

Matteo - the owner - was a pleasure to deal with and even helped us out when we received a beach parking fine. The room, location and breakfast were excellent. The beach is literally across the road. Matteo also gives a parking pass for you to be able to park for free locally which was appreciated. Otranto was a beautiful place with its mix of history and beautiful beach and sea Would stay here again if we returned

Gorgeous view from room & balcony. Very comfortable & modern clean decor. Beach literally across the road and a sandy beach with easy access to the water and a nice beachside cafe/bar. Beach has public access or sun bed/umbrella rental set up. Lovely included breakfast from charming host Matteo. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at B&B lungomare, our host Matteo was very welcoming and suggested some amazing restaurants for dinner. The location was great to access the towns restaurants, bars and shopping. The room was comfortable, well equipped and Matteo cooks a lovely breakfast. The best bit by far about our room was the terrace with the beautiful view over the beach. If you are up early enough you can view the sunrise, very special!

The owner/host Matteo was amazing: unfailingly patient and helpful; couldn't do enough for us. He prepared a great breakfast - whatever we wanted. The apartment is just over the road from the beach and a short walk from the old town. Most days we were able to park right outside the apartment. Otherwise, Matteo gave us a card to put on the dashboard which allowed us to park free.

Owner Matteo has thought of everything when setting up this B&B. Nice airy room with balcony. Breakfast made fresh everyday. Even eggs and bacon if you want. Free beach and Lido across the street
