Gorgeous location close to beaches and wineries, beautiful views from the room, helpful and friendly staff, eco friendly format.

We should have planned ahead and rented a car. Coming from the United Stares we were unable to load the local app for taxi service and Uber is not consistently available - plus the area really is much better for driving on your own. But this would have been the case in any hotel in the area, and we just rented a car the second day and absolutely loved our stay.

there was a constant banging all night long coming from the roof which meant we weren’t able to get a good sleep. also tree branch scraping on the window outside. no staff on site so weren’t able to meet our request for breakfast. could have been more snacks or a bottle of wine provided for the price.

Hotel California Rd at Inkwell Wines is a very intimate little boutique winery and motel. Teresa hosted an amazing wine tasting of the Inkwell wines. She was very interesting and knew a lot about everything there. Everything was so lovely and interesting and the views from the tasting room were amazing.

We were a bit disappointed that the wine tasting was not complimentary given the price we paid for the accommodation. Not a big deal but would have been a nice touch.

Good breakfast supplies. Yoghurt, fruit, cereal, bread, juice, milk & cheese which were ample. Coffee machine (a must for us). Microwave would have a good addition but we managed without one.

There was nothing not to like. Location - AMAZING. Room - AMAZING. Views across the vineyards - AMAZING. Double shower and bath tub with a view were a bonus.

Amazing accomodation, this room was superb. Great facilities & location. Jared is a true asset to this place. Great knowledge of the winery & surrounding suburbs. Highly recommend stay.

The facilities are creatively designed to offer maximum privacy, while still looking open and connected. The views through the large floor to ceiling glass windows/ doors into the rows and rows of grapevines and the ranges beyond looked amazing particularly this time of summer when they are all green and lush. The fittings and décor are beautifully chosen to give a luxurious allure.

The facility doesn't have food options, which would require guests to eat before or drive to Aldinga or Maclaren Vale, so guests would need to be mindful of and plan that.

it was amazing, we loved the view, the tranquil and space we got. Staff and management were very helpful and efficient. We will definitely return!

we were not permitted to roam around the property due to privacy, also the breakfast spread feels pretty basic for $30 a day.

Super premium feel to the place! It is so comfortable and cosy, absolutely the best getaway if you're escaping the hustle and bustle of life! Bathtub 11/10 no typo here Shower 10/10 Environment 10/10

Pillows and the bed is too soft, I would like it to be a little more firm. Check out time at 10 am is way too early! Considering that we're only allowed to check in at 3pm onwards. Netflix is awesome but why can't we access YouTube?
