Very kind staff! They were very helpful with late check ins (we were Much later than expected), they even put cute hearts on my envelope which after a long tiring day was a very nice, cute surprise that brought a smile to my face! The rooms are very clean and there's a hot tub in the back that we would have loved to use if we didn't immediately pass out on the super comfy beds. The breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh options (we almost missed it but again the kind staff let us know breakfast was almost finished so we ran down and they even kept things out longer for us). Thank you to the staff for making our stay so delightful!!

This room was super affordable and probably the best budget choice I made while I was in Iceland. I was late to my check in time and the front desk left me an envelope with a key and directions to my room as I didn't arrive until about 10:45pm. The room was spacious, enough for me to have my suitcase open and walk around without it being tight. + a desk and chair, lots of extra towels, etc. There's also lots of windows letting in natural light. I liked it here.

Location is maybe a little out of the way but not a huge deal. The breakfast was also different than what I'm used to, but again just a small factor!

The dinner was fantastic! High marks for the chef!!! Lamb & chicken were cooked perfectly & the gravy was delicious! Room was small but very comfortable. Could have used a mini fridge. Everything is expensive & would have been nice to have a couple of beers cold & less expensive… Hot tub was an added bonus!

Would have loved a top flat sheet. From USA & always have a bed with fitted bottom sheet & flat top sheet. Got rather warm with a single quilt.

We were greeted with a warm welcome on arrival. Our room was comfortable, clean and cosy. The breakfast buffet was excellent including fresh homemade bread. Hot tub clean and pleasant to use, even on a damp November day. Overall, excellent value for money compared to other hotels in the area.

A kettle in the room would be nice, although coffee is available 24 hrs a day in reception 😀

Clean, wonderful stay

The curtains design was not great given the midnight sun would need fully blackout curtains to sleep comfortably, food was slightly expensive than other hotels I have seen. But it was fresh and good.

Excellent hotel with really nice rooms. Rooms tend though to be a bit small. Bathrooms are luxurious though and a good size. The location although really scenic, can be a bit remote for some, as its about 20km off the main road to Reykjavik. Just stating this as Booking.com shows it closer to the main road than it is. However a great place. Excellent amenities, very nice breakfast, outdoor hot tub that residents can use and free parking on the property. Would definitely recommend.

Rooms could be a bit bigger to better accommodate two people with the kind of suitcases and gear everybody has on a trip like this to Iceland.

The breakfast was excellent. It was not a typical large buffet breakfast but there was plenty to eat. We loved the Skyr and the fresh bread. There was plenty of fruit, cereal, eggs, meat, cheeses, and waffles. Hotel Vos is a lovely hotel in a small rural town (about 20 minutes from the city of Hella). The staff is fantastic. They were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and super clean. There is a jacuzzi that guests can use. The location, while remote and rural, is close to the Gloden Circle and quite central if you want to visit the southern cities of Vik and Hoffn.

The staff were amazing. So friendly, polite, helpful and efficient. They made our stay very enjoyable.

The rooms are not well insulated in between, so it is possible to hear everything that is happening in the room next door.

Loved the property!! Beautiful scenery and loved seeing the horses roam around. Staff went out of there way to accommodate us. Just booked another room for tonight Would highly recommend this hotel!!!

Everything was fine, excellent coffee and whole breakfast. The room wasn't big but comfy enough. Nice cosmetics in the bathroom.

The walls between the other rooms were quite thin. Luckily our neighbours weren't loud when we were trying to sleep, but we could hear other people's conversations in the early evening.
