Form the first booking to the last checkout, every reply has been quick and useful. Even when I had to adjust the booking due to flights, the hotel made it very easy for me. The hotel is clean and well kept. I did not expect the great view of the mountains from our window. You cannot mention this hotel without mentioning the amazing breakfast. Always greeted with a smile and warm bread. The interior and the funky tunes are spot on! There is no better way to begin your day. I really wish they could clone this hotel, because I would like to have this wherever I travel.

Just one suggestion: Paint some lines for the parking spots to get people to park straight.

This was a good location for walking to restaurants and stores in Selfoss. It was also an easy walk to the river for a stroll. We stayed three nights. We were given a key code for our room and for the main doors. At first, this seemed odd, but not having to worry about a key or who had the key or anything was quite a good feature. Our room had a coffee maker, fridge, extra blankets and a tea pot. The bed was comfortable. Everything was in good repair but not luxurious or fancy. The room was only serviced on request, which was fine for us as we can make our own bed and happily reuse towels. The hot water in the shower came from a natural thermal source which was plenty hot but might explain why the temperature fluctuated some during a shower (nothing terrible, just unexpected) Breakfast was standard continental with bread and yogurt and cereals as well as coffee/tea/juice. The pastries and bread were from an excellent bakery next door. We stopped by there for provisions a few times after breakfast. The music playlist at breakfast was outstanding. After we made our booking, the hotel sent us discount codes for car rental and some other things. We used the car rental code and had a good experience with that.

Though we were given a contact number to call and a placard to hang when we wanted our room serviced it was unclear what to do about getting the in-room coffee refreshed, so we didn’t use it.

Comfy clean beds, spacey room, spotless clean bathroom . The free parking is also a plus. The restaurant downstairs "lily and julia's kitchen" had a really good breakfast and we also enjoyed one evening a fancy dinner, their starter with the asparagus was super good and their cocktails super nice and refresing. Location is very good, either 5 min from the river promenade or 5 min from the city's beautiful center. Across the street there is a supermarket, which was nice for the hiking snaks. Mini fridge and coffee/tea machine is always appreciated We felt it was a good location to see the south part of Iceland

The mini fridge was struggling to keep things cold ( or maybe its just designed to keep drinks cold and not anything else-i guess one can live without one in the room to be more enviromental friendly). We missed having like hooks on the wall likw straight in at the entrenace for jackets or more hanging place. The same in the bathroom, some additional hooks would have been appreciated.

Very good location to see all the sites in the Golden Circle and South coast. Located on the main road in Selfoss and walking distance to its downtown area. Rooms themselves were good, clean and comfortable enough for a few nights stay. Parking was adequate, even though you are not guaranteed a space in front of the building. Check in was easy enough for a place with no front desk, they sent many emails to ask about setting up breakfast and check out.

Very nice, fully equipped apartment, with lot of space. Good location, easy parking, easy check in. Good breakfast (but see comment below on communication).

We were asked when we prefer to have breakfast within the opening hours. I understood it is an informal question, just to approximately know if early or later . Our family showed up at breakfast at indicated time, however another family was "late" (=which is non-sense if it is told breakfast is opened within a certain period) compared to their indicated time with liike 5 minutes and they were nearly refused to get breakfast, with a very bad communication. It can easily be solved/improved with a much more precise question, and it is no way the client should feel guilty if breakfast is between e.g. 8 and 10, he is asked when he plans to have it, he indicates around 9:30 but shows up at 9:35, when there is still 25 minutes left. It is completely unaccaptable, from communication point of view.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. It was very well equipped and had plenty of storage. Beds were very comfortable.

Some sugar sachets would have been handy with the nespresso machine. Also we paid extra for breakfast, but we ended up going to the bakery next door. Breakfast was dreadful, very poor selection, and the porridge was freezing cold. I don't mind a basic continental breakfast, but there wasn't even any cereal. I requested a refund for the extra paid for breakfast but have not received a reply at the time of writing. Don't bother going for the breakfast option, just get your own supplies from the bakery, or the supermarket across the road.

Our third stay at Bella Apartments in Selfoss. Room was large, clean and comfortable with good facilities. Great location on the main road in the middle of Selfoss, so you can easily walk to all the great restaurants that Selfoss has. They is a fantastic bakery right next door that does delicious pastries and sandwiches.

The apartment was a little on the chilly side (it was December in Iceland after all), but was warmer than when we visited at the same time the year before. There is also still an unpleasant smell that can come up the drains in the bathroom, but this was also not as bad as on our previous visit.

Great location, 1 supermarket in a walking distance (3m) and 2 supermarkets (2mins by car) on each side. Walking distance to the restaurants. There is no reception, you will be given a code before your stay. The room was spacious and clean, well equipped (kettle, small fridge), bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was also big, clean and equipped (towels, hairdryer, shampoo, soap, toilet paper). There is a restaurant on the ground floor, but it's more expensive than restaurants in the center. Parking is right in front of the hotel.

When closing the door of the room, mingle the handle to the top to be sure the room is properly locked. We found once our room open, thankfully we went only to the car and nothing disappeared, but since then we were extra cautious.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, conveniently close to a gas station, supermarket, and a few restaurants — very practical for day-to-day needs. The room was spacious enough, and the beds were quite comfortable. I also appreciated that the room was fairly soundproof; I wasn’t disturbed by any outside noise during my stay. The host was very cooperative and responsive, always quick to assist whenever I had questions. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, but the internet speed was decent and met my basic needs.

It is a very good place for family or group stay, because it offers large apartments with one or two bedrooms that are quite spacious and comfortable. The place is also quiet and next to the center of Selfoss, where there are some nice restaurants for lunch or dinner. Breakfast was nothing special, but had the necessary for good start of the day.

Parking (in front of the hotel) was small and after we returned from dinner we had to park behind the hotel, which did not felt safe, but we had no other option.
