Beautiful and peaceful country setting. Owners very friendly.

Hard to find because the address on booking.com was slow. Messaging property owners through booking did not get timely responses. I couldn’t call due to lack of phone service so I was relying on communication through booking.com. We got bitten up by something during the night. Maybe some biting flies. Not sure. There was a constant high pitched whine noise that kept us up at night. I have no idea what it was. It sounded like the whistle of a cartoon bomb dropping.

The accommodation is located a bit outside of Selfoss, but it's perfect for exploring the Golden Circle. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting, including the Icelandic horses. The room was decorated with great attention to detail – including a private fridge and toilet. The bathroom was very nice and modern. The common area was always warm and cozy, perfect for having breakfast or preparing sandwiches for the day. We thought it was a wonderful and homely place. There is plenty of parking available.

Very quiet property off a gravel road. Lots of trees and decorations, and the spaces felt somewhat recently renovated. Kitchen was well stocked, and the owner/manager was very nice. My room was attached to a small hallway and shared bathroom, but no one else stayed there the first night. Not too far from Selfoss, with lots of shops and dining options.

Rooms could have used more storage space. TV didn't work for some reason. (This is nothing to do with the property or staff, but) on my second night, the other guests were really loud and hogged the bathroom, using the hallway as their kitchen (made a big mess).

Very nice place that felt really remote, yet was only a short drive from Selfoss. The only place where we went in Iceland where we actually spoke with the (friendly) owner, usually you get a keycode and that's it. There were a lot of horses in the area, and when we went for a walk they came to us and wanted to be patted. We also met a friendly dog on the property (I'm guessing he lived there) that wanted to play fetch and happily followed us on our walk.

The only problem we had was with the heating system that we did not manage to turn off, so the room was quite warm at night.

The location is great, just 10min driving from nearest town. There are millions of beautiful and approachable horses all around! Ragnar warmly welcomed us, he nicely insisted to get the hot tub ready when we arrived and.. It was magical!! He's really friendly and funny

Not really clean, I found hair in the shower, toilet, kitchen drawers and cupboards. Also kitchen utensils were dirty, I had to clean every item I needed before use, and the electrical didn't look 100% safe. The floor in the sauna showed a broken wooden log, so needed to be careful moving inside.

The location is lovely. And the host was warm and inviting. She offered to fill the hot tub for us upon arrival. We didn't realize that in Iceland, hot water is on demand so we thought it would have to fill, then heat and it wasn't worth it. So we were disappointed and didn't want to ask her to do that. However, a few hours later we noticed other guests enjoying the hottub and we realized our ignorance and mistake. Just sharing to help another guest out ;)

The room was very small and the toilet didn't flush well.

This is our second stay here. The owners are very nice and the location is great for exploring the region. It's outside Selfoss so it's quiet mostly and a short drive into town with nice shops and good restaurants. We were in the cottage which has a lot of room to relax in and a separate bedroom that allowed us to keep our sleeping area cool as we prefer.

Nothing of any consequence.

The location is a horse farm, 6km from Selfoss town. Easy to find. The collection of buildings and rooms is neat and smart. My single room was small but quite suitable. There was a small refrigerator in it.The bathroom immediately next door had a heated towel rail so rinsed clothes dried quickly. The common kitchen area was pleasant and well equipped, although some pots/pans didn't suit the induction cooking top. Lots of car parking.

Wifi was poor. The weather may affected it since it was wet and stormy.

There was nobody there when we checked in. Once I found the reception area, our key was sitting there with info on where to find the room. Location was quiet, since it is out of the way of the big city. About a 10 minute drive to get into town for food and drinks. The night was clear, so we drove about 3 minutes from the hotel down the road and it was pitch black. We were able to see the Northern Lights.

The hotel is dated, but overall not bad. The room did have a sauna, but no instructions on how to use it. The shower was horrible, trying to turn the knobs was very very hard. I had to use a towel to be to grip the handles to move them as screaming hot water was coming out.

Room, service, details, value, location. I appreciate the rose in my room, as well as the privacy and availability. It seems a beautiful place, and I would like to return. Loved the shampoo and body wash.

Water overflowed in the shower, drainage should be worked at. Curtain should be oiled so it doesn't make so much noise.
