The location was excellent. Shopping, restaurants nearby and walkable. Very Clean. Loved having washer, bathtub, parking. The bed was comfortable. Great towels. Towel heating device useful for drying clothes. Slept with windows open with soothing sounds of the river outside. Kitchen well supplied with cookware, sugar, tea, etc.

Really hard to figure out the lockbox even with instructions. Unfortunately the WiFi and TV weren't working when we arrived (local outage). There's a dryer but it didn't dry my clothes. Needs blackout blinds for summer.

Very good location with nice view over the river and close to shops and restaurants in Selfoss (highly recommend visiting the Old Dairy Food Hall - Mjólkurbúið Mathöll) and good starting point for Golden Circle attractions (as it was for us). The apartment was spacious and clean, the kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook for yourself and the bathroom had a washing machine and a dryer. Kristin (our host) welcomed us, was very helpful (even offered us to alert if there are Northern Lights out there). Shame we only stayed there one night...

Wonderfull location, across the town center and very close to beautiful forest area. You can use the walk during the summer. The apartment is modern and cosy. The owner was friendly and came up in case of need.

One of the apartment has just a septum between bed and living room, which does not reach the ceiling. It is tricky, if somebody in the group snores. But it is obvious on the pictures.

This apartment is the prettiest apartment during our stay in Iceland! The house is very comfortable and fully equipped (including dryer for our laundry!). The host (Kristin) is so nice and lovely. She is also very helpful when I requested iron. Would totally recommend this place to everyone.

The check-in process was very straightforward. Our host greeted us shortly afterwards to check everything was in order. She is pleasant and happily gave me advice on places of interest in the region. The facilities are modern and in excellent condition. The location, next to the river and a 2 minute walk to the renovated centre of Selfoss, is fantastic. We had a lovely stay in Selfoss and surrounds.

Kristin was very welcoming and gave us good tips on what to do in the area, as well as good places to eat. The house is lovely and located in the perfect spot to visit all the beautiful scenery in the southwest of Iceland. The beds are great, the shower is nice and hot, and the kitchen is well stocked.

Everything was ok.

Host Kristen was great!! She met us when we arrived late to show us into the apartment, but in case she hadn’t done that, we had a code to the lock box anyway. The apartment was cute studio and fine size for a one night stay for 4 people! There’s also a washer and dryer which was super helpful

The location facing the river, in the central. Many shops nearby. Kristin, the host is very friendly. The house is fully equipped.

We checked in by use of the key locker exactly as described. The owner lives in the above apartment in the house and came by shortly after we arrived to say hello. The apartment we got in the lower part of the house was very well equipped, clean and even with washing machine and a dryer, which we used. River apartments is located right across the bridge from main part of Selfoss leaving you a view from the apartment to the city with the river in front. We can recommend to visit the food hall Mjölkurbu if you are not up for cooking in the apartment. We had a very nice stay!

Not much could have been any better!

Great stay, I will 100% stay here again. View is great and the location is perfect. My wife is picky and demands cleanliness, and this was a welcome surprise to see how clean and well maintained the property looked.

There was some noise upstairs but very minor, and did not distract or cause an issue.
