This is a perfectly located guesthouse as we could easily walk to most of the attractions, restaurants and shops in the town. The rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable and large beds, large bathroom/shower, fridge with coffee and tea and good black-out curtains. The guesthouse is in a residential neighborhood and was very quiet at night. The host was great - he lives next door and popped over as soon as he saw us arrive. In addition to our rooms, he also took us on a tour of the downstairs area which is amazing! There is a full kitchen, games room and living room for all guests to use. Plus, outside was a hot tub which we did enjoy. Our only regret is that we had just one night there - next time we'll be sure to book at least a couple of days.

We had a 2 bedroom unit; nice big bathroom; it was spacious in the main areas; it was spotlessly clean and well furnished and decorated; everything you need to eat in and cook if you wanted to; the hosts were very accomodating and helpful; we asked for early check in and they worked hard to clean so we could get in; I dropped a contact lens in the sink and they helped to unscrew the plumbing and found my lens!! I cannot thank this couple enough. Parking right outside the unit was a bonus.

We stayed one night to start our Golden Circle tour - my only regret is that we did not stay here longer.

Loved the apartment! Everything there you might need for a comfortable stay. We used the kitchen and there were even some spices and herbs. The bed was cozy and the shower was strong and hot. But the best part of course,is the wonderful hot tub. We even saw the northern lights while chilling in the hot water. The owners were super friendly and helpful. The location is great for the golden circle and the south. A small village with many restaurants, supermarkets, gas station and Selfoss is just around the corner!

Everything you want and need from a getaway guesthouse/apartment, not too far from Reyjavik. Easy to access all the south coast stops without the hassle of the city traffic. The apartment was cozy and separate from their other units, which were also very nice, but this one was perfect for a couple. The hosts made every accommodation request we had and even let us use their vacuum for our airtight clothes bags! Very charming and overall what a great place to stay while visiting the Icelandic scenery.

The in-unit laundry was small and just a washer, but there is a drying rack in the unit, but for the bulky items, the hosts were kind enough to let us use their big dryer.

Great location close to shops and activities . The communal area is a great touch with games and the kitchen has everything you need . Facilities where amazing . Host was helpful

Only negative I have is the walls are thin I could hear my neighbour snoring and walking around. After a day exploring the golden circle I was tired enough to fall asleep so didn't bother me to much.

Really convenient location for exploring the town, friendly hosts, laundry, and the superior apartment was very large and clean - great for our toddler to run around.

The beautiful large windows led to the space getting very hot during the sunny part of the day (visiting in mid-September) and it was hard to cool by opening doors and windows since they are unscreened and we were traveling with a 1.5yr old.

The room was extremely nice and comfortable. They have a full kitchen which guests can use. They hot tub on the location was the perfect temperature and clean. It is located in a fantastic area that is extremely walkable. I just wished I had planned more they on night here.

The only negative I have to say is not the hotel's fault. The hotel is located near the geothermal park so you're going to be smelling the sulfur almost the whole time you're there.

The room is clean and comfortable. Highlight of the stay is definitely the hot tub. Although it is shared with others, there are only 2 other rooms, which means there are mostly no people walking around when you are relaxing and it is almost private.

Only a minor detail: There were no hair towels available. Only bath towels and tiny face towels.

The host was so friendly, welcomed us when we arrived and showed us around the property to all of its (many) amenities! The host also provided us with a couple of local maps and gave some nice recommendations. The room was clean and as pictured. It was very spacious with a comfortable bed and really lovely shower.

Nice quiet place in Hveragerdi, an apartment with all you need. The hosts live there so they were nice to us when we arrived a bit later in the evening. They even asks us if we wanted to use the hot tub outside or have anything to wash. The rooms look exactly as in the picture, the heating was ok, the kitchen was fully equipped if you wanted to eat in, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom had a lot of towels for the two of us. 10/10.
