The area was safe and quiet. The place was lovely and staff friendly. The outside facilities were awesome and the setup smart. Our stay was enjoyable, would definitely go back again some day. Definitely recommend the place to others too.

The kitchen sink was always full of dishes even thou we were told to clean after eating; so it was a hassle with other visitors not doing their part. The heaters in the rooms did not work. The pillows are flimsy. No towels thou.

My stay at Saltycrax Backpackers was a truly unforgettable experience. The backpackers offered the perfect blend of adventure and comfort. The moment I stepped foot into the common area, I felt a warm and inviting atmosphere, enhanced by the friendly welcome from the best staff. The location couldn't have been more ideal. Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, the backpackers provided easy access to the beach and shopping centers, just a 5-minute walk away.

The breakfast selection was lovely, location was great and the staff were super helpful and accommodating at all points of our stay. Absolutely loved the vibe they have created it felt like a home away from home

I genuinely can't complain any issues we had were sorted out immediately on site by the staff. oh, maybe fix the Wi-Fi its a little spotty <3

I stayed in the dorm, and despite taking an bottom bed specifically for due to the challenges of getting on in years, ended up on top on another bunk - my stuff locked under a sleeping soul when I got back not that the night. It happens. Otherwise it was better than most such establishment in Cape Town, and I know I have spent a December sampling the best and the worst the city offers. Second to my favourite.

One thing that sets any such establishment apart is individual lighting at dorm beds, as well as some kind of privacy measure. This was lacking at Saltycrax

l loved the serenity and peacefulness of the place and also kudos❤️❤️❤️❤️ to your breakfast your staff is very professional and helpful and blissful maintain your standards.

The fact that you don't provide dinner it's good to consider that option for the future and it will bring more money for your organization than for guests to order food outside

Holistic, peaceful staff, always ready with a smile. What a gem of a place, thoughtfully put together with love. The whole place is neat and clean. The water is hot. The beds are comfortable. THE BREAKFAST IS AMAZING. I will definitely be booking in clients, telling friends and returning.

The staff were very friendly, privacy was great... all in all a lovely place, if I come again I will book again most definitely!

The secure parking area is very small.... TV's in the rooms would have been nice, but it was not a train smash.

breakfast was great we enjoyed everything they served us , location is great very quiet i am coming back again in 2025 saltycrax its the best.

saltycrax they have exceeded our expectations , the helpers so friendly . there is nothing to complain we had a great time.

The staff was friendly and helpful especially the barman on duty was entertaining and made us feel home. Would definitely visit again if he is on duty.

The jacuzzi was not working such a bummer. And that we had to pay a fee for bringing our own alcohol. There wasn't a notice while doing the booking.

I really like the room we were in it was clean and nice the best beautiful thing on that room is the bathroom oh my god it's so beuto and clean and the staff were friendly

During the loushading the was no back up it was dark and am scared of dark the supposed to buy the changing light for rooms
