The owners, Sharl and Jennifer were very friendly and helpful offering tips for places to visit. What stood out to my wife and I were the excellent breakfast on offer. Jennifer made an English breakfast, but also offered an excellent omelette and at other times crepes. The garden at Mandalay Beach Guest House is so beautiful, but so is the whole property! We would recommend this Guest House for those looking for a quiet vacation spot that is within a 10 minute walk from the beach, and also close to Cape Town. Our stay of 12 nights were absolutely enjoyable, we will miss the hospitality and graciousness of Sharl and Jennifer.

My wife and I always look at the big picture rather than nitpick. We had nothing to complain about. What we noticed was a couple (Sharl and Jennifer) that worked well together to resolve any issues that came up.

This is a beautiful place with stunning rooms that are both comfortable and spacious. The hosts are incredibly accommodating, making you feel right at home. Firstly the warm welcome we received upon arrival accompanied by the fact that we were immediately made to feel that we are just not another client but we are special. The facilities and location setting is just absolutely on point with an all access to all facilities which made it feel more like home than just another guest house vacation The breakfast was one of the highlights of the weekend, compliments to the chef!!!! , But all in all there is nothing not to like. Our family had a great time, we would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone wanting to break away from the rushes of life.

Everything in life is not perfect but for us this was the perfect weekend.

I liked the lay out of the garden pool area...was amazing pool was clean and our hostess landlady did go out of her way to accommodate us 💯 present.The breakfast menu was superb.The room had everything that we needed and was very clean and tidy.I will surely come back..The landlady and landlord was very friendly.I definitely will refer my friends to Mandalay beach guest House.

Sharl and his mom Jennifer were so welcoming, having a chat over breakfast was really nice. Good thing there was an aircon in the room, as the nights were freezing cold. Very good location as well

Wonderful place to stay at. Located near the beach and shops. Wonderful host and hostess attending to the needs of the clients. The breakfast was superb made by the host and hostes. Will definitely make use of their guesthouse again.

I like the owners hospitality, we had really meaningful conversations and they would often check with us and recommend places to go to. the breakfast was scrumptious the lady is so helpful and friendly. it was just the best! the special gesture that they made for us to help celebrate our 7th year marriage anniversary was just a cherry on top
