The breakfast was the best, and the catering staff was outstanding. I'm a light eater; I appreciated the opportunity to save my extra food for later. The temperature dropped on the first night, and a small blanket was offered to cover me during meal times. This was a lifesaver. The front desk personnel went out of their way to make the stay as perfect as possible. Moreover, they understood that I was there to recharge.

I was surprised by the check-in time of 4 p.m. I have travelled the world, and check-in starts at 14h00 and earlier if there has been prior arrangement. For the premium rate per night, one would expect a 5-star rating for everything. However, until I registered a complaint with the front desk, there was no housekeeping. The excuse is that the housekeepers heard I was on a conference call and skipped the room. I proactively left the door slightly open to signal they may enter. The property provides a complimentary 1 x 500 ml of water. As a couple staying, did we have to share this single unit of water? I do not think so. This is appalling by international standards. I expected 2 x 500 ml of water for every paid night.

Location is really nice- not busy section of the beach, beautiful view and traffic to get to and from is easy. Breakfast was great along with the drinks and other menu items. The staff are really the ones that made it a special stay- always willing to go the extra mile with a smile on their faces. Really made us feel welcome and appreciated as guests

Property should get a good cleaning outside- windows etc.. it really impacts the enjoyment of the place. Additionally plumbing should be looked at, there was constantly a bad smell coming from our bathroom, although it was clean and cleaned daily.

Food was good. Dinner was not as good as the previous evening but was told the normal chef was off.

The last night our room next door had 7 or 8 people partying till 3.00am We were told that they were entertaining some prostitutes. At 3.30am security was called, and after an altercation threw them out. Some were hiding in another room, and after a lot of crashing doors and shouting eventually left. The question is how security allowed them all to come in at 12.00 completely drunk. It did spoil our stay.

We assume breakfast is delicious however we left too early to taste. Room was lovely, a sea view would have been appreciated. Large comfortable King size bed Clean and well laid out room, simple but tasteful decor Friendly accommodating staff

It would have been lovely if they made the offer of an earlier breakfast or a "to go" pack. Beach directly in front of the accommodation could be cleaned and not left to the regular beach cleaners as they do the absolute basics Parking area was littered Could up sell by offering beverages when in the dining area or outside Need to ensure TV and network offerings work prior to booking in

The room was amazing. Separate ktichentte and bathroom and lovely room with a view of the mountain. It was cold so was lovely to have the heater on and electric blankets which made the room cozy and warm. Bed was comfy and linen of high wuality. Friendly check in.

Only issue was there was a lot of confusion with regards to my credit card. Firstly my credit card was declined as my card was not the same as the booking name- but only by an initial- my credit card but husband as traveller. Cant understand the issue as my daughter has travelled all over the world using my card on bookings and her name and surname are totally different. Even though I changed the booked name to the exact name on my credit card I was still asked for a copy of my credit card even though the payment had gone through. It was just all very new for me as a genius client with over 60 bookings done world wide.

Everything absolutely beautiful and location is picture perfect, one of a kind. Central to all amenities, super easy to travel to the CBD and Waterfront. No need to leave they have everything at your fingertips just ask and and …. Staff can’t do enough it’s home away from home. We were rather spoilt to say the least nothing was too much trouble. Neil together with his team gee what an asset to the organisation, your kindness and hospitality out weighs so many places as we are well travelled around the globe. Words just aren’t enough and we will 1000% be back. What’s not to like that’s my motto about Belle Maroc.

The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice.

The bath plug was leaking water, so we couldn't relax in the bath. The shower door couldn't close properly. There's no bottled water in the rooms and that's what we expected to have for the price we paid. The parking is outside the yard, in the street. When going out, you need to wait for someone to open the main door for you. You can't have a visitor after 10pm. Breakfast options are so limited. Nothing like what you see in the pictures. No air-conditioning in the rooms.

There's a time limit for visitors if you have any. They can't come after 10pm. Even with the price of the rooms, there's no bottled water in the rooms. Breakfast is very limited and similar daily. Again, there's no parking inside the hotel. We parked outside. Though nothing happened to the car but it somehow didn't make us comfortable knowing that we parked the car outside across the street in front of the hotel. The bath tub plug in the luxury room was also not properly closing. The water was running out so fast we couldn't relax in the bath after a long day.

Breakfast was prepared well and delicious. I was happy with the location of the hotel…the quiet surroundings and having the sea nearby and a nice view of Tablemountain, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Liked the decor and kitchen items. Delicious breakfast sandwiches and some fruit prepared for us as takeaways on our checkout day.

Not much variety with breakfast, although delicious. No dish cloths in the kitchens within the rooms.

Love the friendliness of the staff.The perfect place, hidden gem in Bloubergstrand. Very comfortable and warm room. Plenty of electric sockets to charge my devices. Great TV and really excellent hot shower, so easy to use. Friendly staff and fantastic breakfasts with the best view of Tafelberg. I love the staff they were very friendly and always warm welcoming. The hotel is very central within easy reach of shops, eating places and 10min drive from V&A Waterfront. I will certainly be back. I already miss this place.

Nothing that i did not like!!! They really are the best!!!
