it was a comfortable place to be away from home with friends,we liked our private cottage. I loved everything we needed for the kitchen was there and Deon and the housekeeper made sure we comfortable all the time. The hot water in the shower was very superb.Its a beautiful guest house close to the shops and beach.

The interior of the house need a little bit of upgrades,everytime we needed a bathroom we have to climb the stairs not ayoba at all☹️. And when we were upstairs we were struggling to connect with the WiFi. The weather was very cold this weekend and the heater was not making the house warm at all.Its a beautiful lodge just need a little bit of upgrades as some of us don't like vintage maybe is because of our age not sure😊. Oh and the lights of the cottage are very dark I think that's the other thing that made the house more cold.

The lodge is situated in a beautiful suburb close to the beach, as well as shops. The host went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and he was very accommodating. All the staff were lovely. The accommodation was very well maintained and had all the facilities we needed.

The stairs in the cottage were a bit tricky to navigate at night time with the kids, as most of the beds are upstairs.

We had a wonderful stay at Be my guest lodge. Had a bbq at the cottage on the friday evening. Jan was a very friendly and helpful host. I would highly reccommend Be my guest lodge as it is in a safe area, affordable and very close to all Bloubergstrand attractions.

There were two things that would have made the stay perfect. 1. If there were batteries to keep the WiFi going during load shedding. With load shedding occasionally going 3 hours or more, that's a long time without WiFi. I do this for my guests. It's a bit more work, since you have to put the battery on charge after each shed, but I feel it's worth it. 2. If the pillows had waterproof protectors between the pillow and the pillowcase. Pillows can harbour germs, and a pillowcase is not a barrier against them. Otherwise, a wonderful stay.

I booked this at very short notice while on a bicycle tour and it proved to be a great find. Not too far from the town centre and beach, or for bars and eating options, but nice and quiet for a good night's sleep. Very nice garden/patio area around the back, where my room was located, and I had my own independent access. The owner was great, really friendly and helpful.

The room might have a little dark, but it helped to keep things cool. I wouldn't change anything, I had a great stay!

It was a lovely house with garden, nice equipped rooms with fridge, kettle and tea. Outside area to sit and relax. Hosts were very nice and helpful too. The beach is in walking distance, sunset should not be missed! We enjoyed our time in Bloubergstrand very much.

Nothing to complain about. Only be careful if you are dependent on taxis, order in advance. Otherwise there might be longer waiting times. Or travelling by car probably better in this area.

Check-in was simple and efficient. Parking is secure and close to the main building. Access to leave and enter was independent. The bed was comfortable. Large cars might have problems parking (if driver is not skilled) so do communicate with host prior,they reply really fast and are helpful Recommended if you'd like to be close to the central area of bloubergstrand.

Beach is a bit of a walk away...but once there,shops and restaurants are plenty.

The vetkoek and mince the oom and tannie provided for us on Friday evening. Thank you for spoiling us. See you back soon.

Be my guest lodge was really stunning. If you want a quiet, clean and good service place to stay in Cape Town Blouberg, it is definitely a place to look at.

I have stayed here on more than one occasion for business, it is extremely comfortable and just a walk away from the restaurants etc.
