I was booked in for my birthday as a gift. When I first checked in the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was absolutely stunning and the view was spectacular. The breakfast was phenomenal with so much variety. The food was constantly being restocked so you know things were kept fresh. The pool facilities were clean and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi was great. I spent half of my birthday there. The staff made my Actually birthday extra special by leaving the most beautiful and thoughtful cake and card in my room the day of my birthday. It really added the extra touch for an already amazing stay. Waves restaurant which is on the property was amazing. The food was so well prepared. I had the lamb shank which was tender and flavourful and my friend had the ribs which were soft and saucy. The waves restaurant even has a tasting room with a try before you buy concept which allowed us to test our wines before buying. I would definitely go back to waves. In general this hotel was truly amazing and they made my birthday extra special. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who asks because it is simply amazing.

The location is great, lovely beach front view with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The facilities were clean and good with in house leisures such as a beauty spa which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were friendly and swiftly responsive to our calls. Absolutely no regrets we had a wonderful stay.

That little welcome letter you get when you enter the room had the wrong name on. It was not addressed to me, that's poor admin. The shower tends to flood some water outside, this can be avoided by just pointing the shower head towards the inside of the shower.

The hotel and booking process was exceptional. We actually left a hotel in Bantry Bay and the service was horrific therefore we booked into your hotel. Everything frol booking, staff mannerism, professionalism and smiles were on point. The room was magnificent and I finally got to take scenic bubble bath.

Saturday morning the 6.07.2024 around 10am , we went down for breakfast. I was horrified to note that the lady making the eggs wiped the actual stove with a dirty cloth from the bucket under her area. The cloth was filthy and that night up until today i had sever food poisoning and had to go into hospital. Please check your cameras and resolve. This is disgusting and i doubt we would stay at the hotel again due to this.

Stunning view of the beach, ocean, Table Mountain and city; spacious rooms with a luxurious feel, extensive room service menu, ample secure parking, heated pool and spa facilities.

Almost nothing to fault. I would just say that the spa could do with a changing room, robes and slippers to give it more of a spa feeling than a salon. I really enjoyed all the room service I ordered, as well as the extensive selection but the ribs were really not good and should be removed from the room service menu - there are loads of better choices on offer.

It was one of the only hotels that had a room with twin beds. My son and I travelled and it was the Best option., not to have to pay for two rooms but not having to share a King size bed. Katrina organiezed a surprise birthday cake for him, with room service. That was awesome. It was awesome to get beach towels.... I did not even think about packing in towels. X

Honestly, the beds were a little Small. My son Who turned 16, is already 185cm tall. Single bed is a right fit. I did send an email to full the mini bar, apon request, but i dont think it was received.

It's clean and neat and close to everything.. love the bed and linen and towels and the gowns. The room is beautiful and very comfy. The room was warmed up for us before we arrived, the staff are so friendly and helpful, it was our second stay and we will definitely go back again. View was amazing. Breakfast is also very good.

The tv channels are very limited. No Netflix,no YouTube and no Showmax. The restaurant Waves is extremely expensive and the food is not that good. The portions are very small for a ridiculous amount and the menu is very minimal. They don't even offer just a normal steak and chips or a main calamari dish. You guys have no vending machines or any snacks on sale in the evening. The breakfast is good though, but the normal menu very limited and very expensive. The staff at the restaurant are amazing, very helpful and friendly, just the menu options are extremely limited and the pricing is ridiculous for very standard type food. Will not eat at the restaurant again, will only have breakfast there, breakfast is fantastic.

I like everything about the hotel and the place it is in perfect quiet area and I like how the staff treat you they do understand the customer service principles...I also like how they helped me to celebrate my husband birthday it is indeed the unforgettable Birthday trip....and in the morning were checking out early they prepared Breakfast Packages for us to eat while we are in the Airport...Thank you so much Mr Gideon and his team for everything and the Rest of Blaauwberg Beach Hotel Staff thank you for making our stay so unforgettable ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Nothing at all.....

The Room I got was the one I requested, though I had asked for the exact same Room Layout (i.e. Toilet right at the entrance and not facing the Bed, a Screen separating the Bed Section from the Bath, and the Black High Headboard) in the upper floors. All was granted except that they could not identify the same layout in the upper Floors for better views and away from the Swimming Pool area. Other than being on the First Floor, I was happy with everything. Staff was willing to check a few Rooms in the Upper floors, we just could not find the "One" high up - but they were very helpful.

This hotel has the most magnificent views of Table Mountain and the sea. The room was also extremely spacious. Undercover parking was also ample and easy to park. It is just a short and safe walk away from the promenade.

The open plan bathroom setup might not appeal to everyone, but I was travelling alone so didn't mind. I didn't find the staff at breakfast particularly friendly or helpful. No one offered me coffee even though there was coffee cups on the table. Eventually I got myself a cappucino in a paper cup out of a machine that was standing to the side. It overflowed because the cup was too small. I also didn't see any hot milk for the breakfast cereal. The hotel name for me isn't clear enough. It is small and faded. I drove past because I missed it. The name of the hotel restaurant's stand out more.

Staff are truly amazing. From check in until check out. The views are fantastic, the room is very comfortable and the heated pool an added bonus in Winter!! Bedding is soft, cleaning is superb, and breakfast was plentiful.

Our room had a door adjacent to the room next to us and the couple next door made quite a bit of noise which made it slightly unpleasant as the sound traveled so easily through that door. The A tower does not link directly to the pool, bar and spa area which is in the B tower. I will be sure to book a balcony room and ask for B tower next time. (Also for a room without an adjacent door)
