Really good location… close to beach and a very good cafe and restaurant. We had a great room for the 1st 2 nights……lower floor which had a patio straight out onto pool…very good size with a queen bed and and a further single bed. We then had to move to a sea facing room ( Booking.com error apparently) which was a whole lot smaller with no bath and the wind could be heard much more …..I would recommend a room facing pool if you don’t want to hear the wind! Restaurant staff were lovely!

We loved everything. Having traveled over the world, this has been one of the best, homely feeling have had. The manager was amazing, responsive and caring to our needs. And the staff friendly and you can see they love what they do. We asked for almond milk, and the next day they had it for us. This is just one example. If I had an option, I would rate it 12. Definitely our new spot when in CT.

We loved everything!

We visited Cape Τown for Xmas and New Year and this was the exact perfect place we were looking for; a boutique establishment next to the sea with very friendly and accommodating host and staff that made us feel very welcomed, even during the time we organized our trip. Every corner in the shared facilities and the room is taken care of with great taste, peaceful and cozy with a positive vibe, and spotless clean! Our triplex room had direct access to the garden with the pool, that our seven year old son with his cousin loved and, ourselves relaxed on the sunbeds. The pool size is ideal for the young ones, still not for a traveler who is looking to enjoy it over the cold sea waters. Breakfast is of great variety for all tastes with warm dishes, and the staff taking good care of us. Overall, a stay that exceeded our expectations!

It is perfectly situated close to the beach, cafes, restaurants and a strip mall. Watching the sunsets from the first floor lounge are magical! Mable the cook and caretaker of the property is a gem! Mable is kind, considerate and friendly, she goes out of her way to make your stay special. The bathrooms in the room are big and the water pressure in the shower is great! The honesty bar is well stocked.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms with balcony or patio. Beautiful seaview from lounge and breakfast room and some of the guest rooms. Nice and quiet location and with restaurants on easy walking distance. Good honesty bar. One of the best breakfasts in South Africa! Mabel who has been working at the guesthouse for many years is extremely service minded and helpful! Love her pancakes! Have stayed at Sir David many times and can highly recommend this guesthouse!

Everything is good!

The hotel is a real boutique of style and comfort. Our welcome and hospitality were outstanding. Mabel could not do enough for us. The sea view room no.5 was dreamy, with a lovely balcony. Wake up to hear and see the waves. Just a very short walk to good restaurants and the surf club. Breakfast was delicious. Hopefully we will return again soon.

The facilities were top-notch. The entire experience was phenomenal. I travel regularly and stay in a lot of different places and it's important for me to be comfortable where I stay. The breakfast we had before departing was absolutely amazing. Well done to all of the staff.

As I am quite tall, the bed was short. It would be nice to have an option of an extra length bed.

Beautifully kept and comfortable too. Spacious bedroom with terrace and a few steps from the pool which was quiet. We had a aircon & a fridge in the bedroom too. There was an honesty bar with wine, beer, soft drinks and a few crisps and chocolate snacks at sensible prices.

Very nice little boutique hotel and very quiet. Nice view of the sea. Very friendly and accommodating. My room facing the garden with direct access to the pool.

It's a shame that the fridge is next to the bed. Sometimes annoying.

Friendly staff, awesome breakfast, close to the beach. Best of all was the conference room for the odd meeting that we did remotely. Fiber is 50bmps / 25mbps so that is more than enough for a zoom meeting. Pool table and honesty bar was a great addition for that odd craving for a snack/drink.

Nothing, will definitely visit again when traveling to Cape Town for business.
