Friendly staff, amazing location, pleasant design (although not really my style), spacious room, good cleaning. The communication with the property was very easy and efficient, our special requests were taken into consideration. Overall we are very satisfied. Thank you! We didn't take breakfast as in the area there are nice places where you can eat. But if you go for this option like us, please consider that you should book a table in advance, otherwise it's possible to miss breakfast time at the hotel and not to be able to eat elsewhere... If you are lucky, of course there is a chance to have breakfast without any reservation :)

The pillows were not convenient

The location was amazing! Very close to the cathedral as well as restaurants and shopping. Also close to the train station even though we still took a taxi. The suite we had was wonderful. Spacious with a large private balcony with great views. It rained most of the time but the balcony was covered so we could still enjoy it. Bed was very comfortable! My husband raved about how good the burger in the restaurant was. He loved it! Good selection of fresh foods for breakfast.

Didn't have good water pressure in the bathroom sink but that might have been an easy fix. We didn't ask staff about it. Not a big deal.

Excellent location right near the spectacular Cathédrale Notre-Dame d'Amiens. The area has a lot of restaurants and bars. There were no noise issues. The accommodation was comfortable, modern & spacious. We enjoyed a garden courtyard view. We had all the amenities that we required for our short stay. The nearby parking station was excellent and reasonably priced. We were able to walk everywhere without worry. The main railway station, Gare de Amiens, was an easy 14-minute walk from the Mecure.

We stayed one night en route from the Paris Olympics to Calais. The location was very central to Amiens, near the cathedral and many restaurants. Overnight parking was possible on the street outside. the room was comfortable, clean and modern. We had a room looking over the inner courtyard and the window soundproofing was effective as it was quiet despite roads nearby. The staff were very helpful in directing us to local amenities. We enjoyed the 'Croma' light show on the cathedral in the evening.

The bathroom had a frosted glass door so turning on the bathroom light during the night affected the whole bedroom. This might be an issue for light sleepers.

Hotel is spacious, modern and well-located. Staff are professional, helpful and friendly. Bar/restaurant.

Surprised that no 'English' tea, nor milk was available in the room. Bar had no ice! Public areas toilet only had one box of Kleenex tissues (rapidly running out!) to dry hands on. Parking, although fairly close, is a nightmarish walk up/down a three-story ramp to the basement or an alternative smelly grim staircase (with scary itinerant to pass by). Very difficult to cope with, with multiple suitcases and bags.

We chose this hotel as part of a road trip, so lots of stops but short on time. We were aiming for the centre of the towns we stayed in. We were travelling with our 17 year old daughter so aiming for a family room in all of the hotels. In this hotel we booked a suite, it was fabulous, over looking for Amiens Notre Damn which was lovely. We found easy access to great restaurants etc. One tip I would say about travelling at this time of year in France, it is super quiet, so rates are really good. Don't however be fooled that everything is closed, we walked around in the afternoon about 4pm and was worried that the restaurants were all closed but then back out again at 7pm and hey presto all open again, phew!

Great location and parking close by. It was very cold and although we used the bar across the road which was good, we were more than happy to eat in the hotel. It was in the city centre but very quiet with big opening windows which we love as we prefer fresh air. The lady who checked us in was lovely and the lady running breakfast in particular was absolutely on the ball making sure every detail was right, anticipating what you were looking for.

The WC was very small, my husband is tall and it was a little cramped. The shower / basin area opened directly to the bed so if you used it in the night and turned the light on you lit up the bed and possibly woke up your partner, I would suggest a movement detector low level light or something subtle, also enabling you to move about without struggling to find the light switch. It didn't worry me too much but in other hotels the room key also controls your ability to use the lift and access to the stairwell from the lobby, this hotel seemed a little casual on security.

For this type of "formula hotel" i was very surprised. Staff were great, receptionist could see I was exhausted and got me my key very quickly and told me about the Cathederal light show that evening which was amazing! As I was alone I ended up eating in the restaurant which was absolutely brilliant. Lovely waiter and steak and chips. Pleasantly surprised and loved Amiens and would go back again one day.

Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms and all public areas were always bright and clean. Really good to have amenities in the private room of kettle, fridge, fully opening window, soft towels and complete bathroom grooming and washing extras. The bed was super comfortable. Lovely little garden to escape into with in the hotel inner courtyard. Great location in the centre of Amiens and with particular note to it's wonderful proximity to the cathedral and riverside restaurant quarter.

Would have preferred a balcony room as this was the picture shown to me when booking the privilege room

Spacious, clean, fabulous deep soaking tub, and amazing huge balcony with cathedral view. Centrally located easily walkable to shops and restaurants. If you are going to be in Amiens, make the splurge and get the suite with the balcony. Watching the cathedral light show from your own private balcony is a fantastic experience. It was gorgeous and amazing! Parking garage is short walk.
