They have the absolute best staff that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! I used to travel a lot for my work as a musician and I have stayed in too many hotels to count all over the South East Region of the U.S. and the staff here were by far the friendliest, most helpful, courteous, employees I've ever seen in the hospitality industry as well as being eager to help me with finding my way around town. My wife and I stayed here for five nights total. We came to town for my daughter's wedding and we liked it so much we decided to extend our stay from the original two night reservation we had made. Most hotels at this price range offer a "Continental" breakfast ( I've never quite understood how a donut or bagel is Continental) but this hotel offers cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and my favorite part was the fresh made waffles!! Plus coffee, teas, sparkling water, orange juice, cranberry juice, and one other beverage but I can't remember what it was because the orange juice and cranberry juice which were both 100% juice were the best tasting! I was thrilled with this aspect the most because I am a breakfast person, I can eat breakfast three meals or more a day,lol. I once stayed at an alleged 5 star hotel which cost me three times the price of this hotel and they didn't even offer a cracker for breakfast....not even coffee! I could actually see myself living here if I were a local but sadly my vacation was over and I had to come home. I may decide to come back here for my vacation next year just to stay at this motel!

The vending machines could have been better stocked but other than that my only complaint would be that I had to leave.

Clean and staff made sure my key worked and supplied towels when requested.

Reservations for a queen beds and got full for 4 people, lack of ice buckets, no frig in unit. Though frig wasn't their fault, they had a new one that was broken.

We did not use the breakfast. Everything else met our expectations.

Temperature setting on air conditioner should have been set at an energy-conserving comfortable setting of around 78º. Instead, our room was set at a frigid 61º. This is a totally unnecessary waste.

Very convenient location. Staff was accommodating when I needed to change dates due to unforeseen circumstances. I appreciated THAT alone more than I can say. Room was very comfortable and relaxing.

The locations was great, the rooms are open to the outside. The room was very clean. I would stay here again.

The hotel is very run down. The door lock was broken. The toilet paper holder was broken. And the cable was off so there were only 2 Channels.

The staff are very nice. The location is great. It is quiet and peaceful. There have been upgrades to the rooms since my last stay.

No elevator. But i was offered first floor room.

I'm not going to lie, after booking the room we got to reading the reviews. Needless to say we were worried. But after getting there and seeing the place for ourselves we quickly realized some people have just blown things out the water about this place. Our room was nice enough for us. No it's no Hilton. But for the price you can't beat it. The staff was friendly. The location was not bad. Truthfully if you are just passing thru and need a place to stay then this is not a bad place at all. Even for a weekend stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was not the best place in the world. But NOWHERE NEAR THE WORST place that I have seen. I would stay here again. And would also recommend this place for people that are passing by and or just wanting a cheap weekend getaway to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were in town for a wedding, and this place served our needs for a place to stay while in town. And we are very pleased with our stay.

Just a few things I didn't like, but not a big deal in my opinion. I just want to help on maybe some improvements that can be made. In our room to get the door open you had to put a shoulder in it. Again not a big deal to me, just maybe a older couple would have a problem with it. And secondly is the TV. The picture on it was not the best and kinda hurt my eyes. But again I wasn't there to watch TV, but it was nice to watch some football at night until I was ready to go to bed. But then again I wasn't there to watch TV.

You guys have the sweetest staff. I really appreciate you all. It's been wonderful.

There were some ashes by the nightstand from previous users. It smelled a little smokey inside. There was a delay in getting my room the 1st night due to a large volume of people being there the night b4.

Rooms are clean functional.

Parking is limited amd spaces are to tight. Orange juice in the machine routulinely doesn't work. If I call the room price is $89 plus tax but 63 plus tax thru Booking.com.

I always enjoy my stay at this place. The staff is great. Location suits me. And the value is the best around

The soap dispensers in the shower, very difficult. The only complaint I believe I've ever had here
