The location of this hotel is perfect for people that want to enjoy downtown Boone on foot. You can walk to all of the stores and restaurants. It was perfect for my stay! The staff was very helpful and pleasant, always a smile on their face. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice with good pressure.

The rooms on the lower level are very dark, with no window. I did have the 1 room on the lower lever with a window but you had to look up to see out the window. If I have to say anything negative that would be the only thing I can come up with about the hotel. It really is a great place to stay.

Boone is a wonderful little mountain town. There are many big name hotel chains there. We are so glad we chose to stay at the Horton. The decor was modern-rustic with charm galore. Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar was perfect for a sunset cocktail with warm gas fire pits to fight off the chill. Our breakfast when we left was superb. The shower was luxurious. You can’t beat the location to downtown. We cannot recommend this place enough.

I have stayed at the Horton Hotel several times and I always enjoy my stay here. The location is unbeatable and the deal I got on Booking.com was fantastic! The hotel staff is always very nice and the rooms are very comfortable. The beds, linens, bathrooms and housekeeping are all amazing!

The rooftop is small and gets very crowded. The bartender was unable to keep up.

Room was very nice and clean, shower was luxurious! Was very happy with the complimentary breakfast. Enjoyed the rooftop lounge and walkability of downtown.

The only drawback was the room did not have a window, which wasn’t really noticeable until the next morning when we noticed the lack of morning light. A livestream from the rooftop was a fun touch.

after hours lock out at 10:00. did not remember code written on paper when I checked in. emergency call not responded to. but for someone walking out of hotel would have been locked out for night. code should be texted to guest phone numbers to avoid this situation. No window in room. Parking blocks away.

Great location, trendy boutique hotel with a great rooftop bar. Breakfast was delicious and hotel staff were relatively friendly.

The parking is a bit of a pain. They are paragraphs of instructions around parking, which make it easy to miss key points. A few clear bullets would have been more helpful. It would’ve been super helpful to have a few simple bullets about parking included in the confirmation and reminder text that we receive..

Breakfast was delicious. Did not enjoy the location at all. My husband is disabled so could not cross streets , too much traffic and parking not good. No window in room.

Did not like the location of being so close to the college to much traffic.

The location was great as we went to a concert at the theatre two or three buildings down from it, so an easy walk.

Our room was in a lower level with no windows. When asked, I couldn’t move to a bigger room without a somewhat increased fee.

room 2 was directly under the main floor and lobby area so it had a lot of foot traffic which echoed thru the floor to our room until like midnight until the bar closed the pillows could have been firmer they kinda disappeared the longer you layed on them

Love the esthetic I’ve been dying to stay here so glad i finally got a chance. The staff was great definitely will be back

Bed was a little tough for me but wasn’t horrible I just have back issues
