Location 10/10 - overlooking the gorgeous river where locals gather and swim. Facilities 10/10 - private swimming pool for guests Food 10/10 - delicious and were so accommodating in catering to vegan dietary requests. Staff 10/10 - if I could give a higher rating I would! So accommodating, friendly, warm and welcoming. Allowed us to check in early, insisted on carrying our luggage for us. Gave us suggestions for things to do, organised onward transportation for us. Mina, the owner was so warm and welcoming to us. We were only staying for one night but as soon as we arrived we knew we wanted to stay for longer. The cleanliness was 10/10, design, layout, tasteful decor of Herzeg Villa were all beyond words. I am already planning my next trip back, and really feel like we have happened upon a hidden gem. Can’t wait to try out the spa on our next visit!

I usually don't give a 10 as I'm picky. But this villa more than deserves it. I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be reason enough to go to Trebinje. We picked it not only for the great reviews but also because it's within walking distance from the bus station. That wouldn't have mattered though as they offer free pick up/drop off. Everything was perfect. I loved the attention to the detail. The bed is King size. The room quiet. They have all the amenities, slippers, lovely towels, even a small black one for the make up! Water, coffee, tea, little cookies are complimentary. There is a swimming pool on the premises for those who don't want to swim in the nearby river. The owner's middle name is Hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast is not the usual cornflakes, cereals and eggs. They offer panini. We are vegans and Mina bought for us hummus, cheese and mayo. And not only plain one but also a chili one. That says a lot. She offered not only to warm up our take away dinner, but also made sandwiches for us, which were actually better than our dinner, which she brought us to eat it on the balcony. By the way they are very flexible with breakfast time. You could check out and come back later for breakfast at lunch time! Or you could have breakfast in bed. She also prepared us fruit and sandwiches for the road. We are really delighted we stayed there. A huge thank you.

There was a little noise from the fridge but we unplugged it as the tap water was very cold. If girls at the cafe made an effort to learn some more English that would have been terrific.

Very nice and cozy apartment, stylishly furnished with love, very kind and helpful host (Mina does everything to make you feel comfortable and welcome!), very comfy large kingsize bed with a nice hard mattress, large Smart-TV with several streaming options (Netflix didn't work, though), room service (Mina ordered for me at a pizza delivery service and brought it up to the room - thank you!!), nice pool with drink service (I recommend to order Mina's creation, the "German Spritz" cocktail - really refreshing!), nice big balcony!

No tissues in the room, when I was there - but Mina will change that! Except of that everything was just great! I didn't feel more comfortable anywhere during my 2-weeks-travel...

I loved everything about this place. Stuff is more than helpful. The location is excellent. It is at quite a place, yet you are under 5 minutes walking distance from the center of Trebinje. I was initially booked for Rusmarin apartment, but due to my mistake, I came a day earlier, so I ended up in Ruza apartment. I am glad I did since the apartment was amazing. I enjoyed my stay so much that I stayed an extra day. The pool is fantastic, and the food is great. We were offered fresh fruits and cold lemonade near the pool. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, and the owner is such a nice lady who offered me an extra day free of charge due to the inconvenience that I could not be accommodated in Ruzmarin room. I wish I could stay that extra day. All in all, I am in love of this place, and I will definitely be back next summer.

Quite likely the nicest accommodation in Trebinje! A small boutique hotel with very nice, attentive and personalised service, the Canadian owner is always there to help you with anything (you won’t even have to ask). You can order your desired type of breakfast either at the table or to your room, which has great views over the charming mountains surrounding Trebinje, a little private pool for enjoying sunny days (don’t think many other places in the town can offer that), very modern, clean, well-equipped and spacious rooms. Everything 5/5!

Ok, reading the excellent reviews led us to chose this place for a one-night stop in Trebinje. However, after staying at Herzeg Vila we realized that even those reviews do not do this cozy little place justice. Where to begin? The most polite, warm-hearted hostess who attended to our every little need and request and provided us with all kinds of information? The large, beautifully decorated room with quality, carefully chosen items, with a modern double sink bathroom and a great view to the river? The breakfast, customized to our preferences and handmade on the spot by our hostess? The safe parking space to leave our car and not worry about it? This was our last stop in our lengthy trip from Sarajevo to Greece and our most pleasant and memorable one! Next time, I would happily stay in Herzeg Vila in Trebinje again and use it as a base for explorations in the surrounding area. Every night I will be happily looking forward to returing there for a quality and warm rest! Thank you for everything!

Parking lot available and very convenient. Room is perfect.. comfortable and large bed.. modern bathroom with floor heating.. shower is very nice. Everything was working - air conditioning, tv, wi-fi, hot water. We enjoyed breakfast. Tretment from the staff is warm and subtle. Neibourghood is quiet. Sincerely pet friendly. Great value for money!! Recommendations 100%

Accommodation was great, very comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, toiletries provided and a very spacious balcony. Breakfast was great, and good location for a nice walk to the old town. Best of all were the staff and the owner, they were so welcoming and nice, made us feel like home. Would definitely stay there again.

I will definitely stay at this place again ! Staff are so attentive, the location is the best in Trebinje. There is a massage therapist/spa center at the premises. Private swimming pool as well as backing onto the city pool/beach ( as it's known). Mina, Zoran, Nina and Slađa take care of their guests every need. Big shout out to you guys 😃

We came for a night and stayed longer. This new small hotel has a beautiful setting, it’s just outside the old city on the banks of the river. The rooms are large and comfortable, the beds extra comfortable. We had breakfast each morning. Fresh squeezed OJ starts the meal and for me gluten free crepes. My husband had French toast, waffles or scrambled eggs. There was plenty of breakfast as fresh fruit and cheese, homemade jams and bread were standard as well. The villa has seating inside and on a patio outside. It was too cold for the swimming pool but it added an extra touch to the place. the WIFI was quick and strong. The on-site spa is for massages and healing. The owner, who has the spa, has years of experience and we had no qualms putting ourselves in his good hands and felt amazing after the treatments and massages. This well run, beautiful place is one we will return to the next time we are in Trebinje.
