Used it for an overnight stop between the UK and Southern Germany. The hotel is a minute or so off the motorway - easy to get to. A very large car park. Hotel room was large - and amazingly had two comfortable chairs in it! . Although they have a restaurant we didn't eat there due to a late arrival and early onward journey. Almost opposite the hotel is a petrol station which was good to know about. Will use the hotel again for a similar purpose.

Nothing - The hotel is very visible but we missed the entrance. Bigger signs for the entrance would be an advantage and a note about how to get the barrier to lift on the car park (Just press the bell sign).

I searched a lot before booking for this hotel. It was nearly the cheapest option and it was really worth the money. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was newly decorated and very conveniently designed. The heating system worked excellent (I stayed in 300 euro hotels that didnt have such a good one) . The location is truly excellent with very convenient enterance and exit to a large and free parking lot. Wifi works great.

The restaurant can be a lot better as there arent so many options around already, so they can both improve the restaurant outfit and the quality of the food. Also the hotel looks quite clean actually but there we a lot dust in the room that we discovered.

Location is good when you are there with your own car, free parking was spacious and available. Rooms are modern, spacious, and include what you need, and all in all well-equipped (coffee machine & fridge included). Family rooms would be great, but having two double rooms relatively close together, thanks to helpful staff, was also nice.

Baby bed was requested before but we learnt upon arrival that this doesn't mean that it is reserved - so, if you really depend on that, you should maybe call the the hotel to make sure you get one. Giant mining-themed wallpaper was cool but the kids found it scary :-D:-o (Probably because it depicts a guy with a face full of coal dust holding a big hammer plus a dark mining tunnel behind him ;-))

Have been guest in Bastion Geleen already for the forth time. Coming for a nearby festival it has a perfect location. Staff always very helpful and friendly. Restaurant offered a very good food with sufficient variety. Rooms were as always very clean, simple and big. In short the perfect place for me to stay.

Nothing I could say what I disliked.

The room was spacious and elegant, with curtains that blocked out light well and extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom was also large and very comfortable, with a big walk in shower. The location of the hotel, close to a highway exit was convenient, since I was traveling.

I think the payment system was a bit convoluted. I booked the room on Booking.com, giving them my card, and normally my payments would either be taken from my card automatically, or I would pay at the hotel. Here, however, I got a series of messages with instructions requiring me to separately pay through a dedicated portal, which I found unneccessarily comvoluted.

All the staff are so welcoming and friendly. This hotel has the best team I have ever encountered. And I mean from management to bar/restaurant staff to the breakfast staff and housekeeping. The food was excellent. The room was very clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The rain shower is nice bonus.

Generally clean. Staff at reception was very nice, beer was really good. Breakfast was very good, with scambled eggs and bacon made to order. Other nice things: free parking, good wifi.

Asked for a double, but they only had rooms with two singles left. Too many smokers right outside the entrance, while the doors were wide open. Huge dust-bunnies behind the fridge. Strange electric engine noises all night long, but slept fine. Price went up just when I decided to book - maybe they ran out of regular rooms, I ended up in a 'Deluxe' room although I can't tell what was deluxe about it.

room cleanliness: poor and problem with towels. we were two in room each day there towels missing. had to ask from the reception to give us towels. the beds were separate although we asked connected beds. The mattress slips off the bed in the middle of the night and I fell on the floor and injured my face from the top of the bedside table.

Good choices for breakfast, plus a fried or scrambled egg freshly made and brought to your table with a cheerful friendly smile. We had our best sleep on the very large double bed - that good in fact that we investigated to see if we could obtain a similar mattress when we reached home.

The weather during our stay. But we are prepared to forgive you for that!

Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast. Large rooms, with coffee machine. Brand new and elegant bathrooms. Very quiet at night. Large parking wirh electric cars charging poles. The hotel seems all new.

They don't have rooms for 4 people, but they can give you 2 rooms next to each other. The beds are a little soft.
