homeless people on our floor just sitting around charging their phones. not safe at all had to make our girls stayed together at all times.

We stayed here primarily to catch the Red Sox vs. Braves series, and the location couldn’t have been better — just a 15-minute walk to both Battery Park and Truist Park. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax between games. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast, which was decent. However, there’s room for improvement — it would be helpful if staff regularly monitored the breakfast area to ensure items are restocked promptly. There are plenty of restaurant options nearby, and a shopping mall is about a 30-minute walk away. Overall, a great stay. Highly recommended if you’re in town for a game!

Loved everything. The property is set back from the main roads and is surrounded by eating options. Easy 8min walk to Coca-Cola Roxy and Trust Park precinct. Was lovely walking into the reception/foyer area, nice and light and bright and welcoming. It was also the breakfast area and very comfortable. Good choices for breakfast. Our room had a lovely view of trees and was very spacious, I suspect we may have been upgraded? Excellent large bathroom, nice sitting room, very comfy bed! No noise, didn't want to leave. Staff who checked us in was very engaged, friendly, welcoming, provided information for our stay with ease and also enquired our reason for our stay and then gave us tailored information.

Nothing, wished we could have stayed longer. Next time we're in Atlanta might choose to stay out here again and not in the city as the hotel is great value for money, it is a lovely area and we found public transport very easy! We caught the train from the airport to the Arts Centre and then the bus out to the area, it stopped 10minutes walk from the hotel, very handy.

Location was great for the ball game. Much easier to walk to the field rather than buying a parking pass. The 1st floor dining area and entrance was clean along with the parking area.

Indoor pool was cold not well heated, rooms were somewhat cleaned. You could see dry wall patches throughout the room, ironing board had stains all over it, blow dryer end was melted, trimming on walls were falling off. Air conditioning was very loud even after turning the fan to low setting. Stayed for 2 nights and after the 1st night stay the room key stopped working and ended up having to wait in line to get a new room key. Had to ask for parking pass to ensure my car wouldn’t get towed. Ice machine on floor did not work.

From check-in with the warm reception to the cleanliness of the building and room, our stay was great. Our room was spacious, clean and fresh. Everything we needed was provided for. The bed was comfortable, the linens nice and clean.large The Wingate is a perfect location to visit a Braves game. It is in comfortable walking distance, you will need to cross a intersection but it is well lit and with directional crossing signals. Wingate also offers a drop off shuttle to the game.

The only complaint, and it has nothing to do with Wingate is the street noise. We woke a few times to very loud music from cars cutting thru parking lot to get to the waffle house and/or main road.

The front desk staff was uniformly friendly. Everything appeared in order in my room. The queen beds and pillows were comfortable. A good hot shower was available. The hotel is down a sliver of a sidestreet. From its front door, it's a short walk -- 10 minutes total, including two necessary crossing lights to traverse a major roadway -- but safe and worth it to take in Truist Park and its surrounding shops, pubs, and eateries. Nice Truist Park employees, too.

Because there was no ventilation in the large bathroom with the good, hot shower, the caulking had failed around some fixtures. No employee could possibly know this without pulling on a fixture in the tub. The exercise bike, which I used for 15 minutes, needs replacement. Another piece of e-exercise equipment was nonfunctional.

I was a little hesitant at first, because of the not so good reviews I previously read, but I can only speak from my experience and, it was definitely a good one. I stayed a few nights with the purpose of assisting a concert at the Coca Cola Roxy. The check in/check out was easy and quite fast, the room was a decent size, clean, and had different amenities like a fridge, microwave, etc., to make your stay more comfortable. Breakfast was served from 6am-9am with some variety of products to consume. And to top it off the proximity to the Truist park complex and other locations surrounded makes it an ideal hotel to spend some time. 10/10, will definitely stay again if need it.

Location. Friendly staff. Nice hot breakfast. Good value for the price.

Not a deal breaker. But, upon booking it states "shuttle" available. There WAS a shuttle for drop off at Truist Park/The Battery. However, there was NO PICKUP for whatever reason AFTER the games. I had called PRIOR to arrival and was given info that last shuttle pick up time was 10:45. Unfortunately, this was not the case. For people with any disabilities or children this is an inconvenience. Other return transportation had to be arranged. Beware! But, on a positive note, our shuttle driver (Tina) was wonderful and kind.

Everything was clean. Some of the stripping on the wall corner edges in room 304 was coming off the corners, and one piece had been tapped back, but glue would be a permanent fix and would look better. We appreciated the cold ice water in the lobby since it was so hot. We love staying at this hotel and it being within walking distance to the battery. We get some exercise.

Our neighbors were loud, but that's not the hotels fault. It didn't last too long, so we didn't call to report it. I would like to see quite hours posted just to remind people to be courteous to their fellow hotel guest.
