The host was very welcoming and friendly. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The homemade ginger oaties were delicious! The choice of breakfast was lovely and a nice change from the usual cooked breakfast you normally get. The beach path through the lovely garden was an adventure and we managed to get to the campsite where people we were travelling with were staying in their camper.

Everything was great the only thing we would comment on would be that the blind in the room does let alot of light in, in the summer mornings. But it was glorious sunshine when we stayed.

What can I say… This is a stunning and beautiful property with stunning views set just off the coast and a quiet and secluded spot. The single en-suite room was called Oystercatcher and was spotlessly clean and delightfully decorated with lovely artistic crafts and subtle touches about the oystercatcher throughout the room. It had a beautiful garden view with stunning sea and mountain views There was tea/ coffee facilities with delicious home made ginger biscuits, (such a lovely gesture). The dining room was delightful too with lovely views of the garden, sea and mountains. The vegetarian breakfast menu was superb and the homemade food was delicious! I had booked a two night stay but could have stayed much longer to explore the area. John and Louise were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for letting me stay at your beautiful home, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back at some point to stay again.

Nothing everything was perfect!

A pleasant and friendly host with a beautiful home and garden in a rediculously picturesque area and in a great location only a hop a skip and a jump from the beach. My room was gorgeous and modern overlooking the garden and onto the sea, islands and far shore. The bed was so so comfy and breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and a wonderful change from the norm. As good as it gets. I love this place. I'll be back as The Terminator once said.

All good. You owe it to yourself to stay here as often as you're in the area.

I loved An Cois Na Mara. It was in an idyllic setting off the main road in Laide. There was a socket by the bed for phone charging. The room was quiet and comfortable and toiletries and other facilities were excellent. The car park is directly in front of the accommodation. The location is about half a mile off the main road in Laide, and is easily reached. The accommodation has an excellent sea view. The host was lovely, and knowledgeable on the area. Breakfast was first rate. It was a thoroughly enjoyable short stay.

I had a fantastic stay! The location was absolutely ideal—just a short walk to the beach, with another even more stunning beach just a quick drive away. The town itself, along with the surrounding coastline, is incredibly beautiful and well worth exploring. The garden area at the property was lovely and made for a peaceful place to relax. Great sunrise view! The host John was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would 100% stay here again without hesitation! Thank you!

What a place to be. Spectaculair view. Beautiful house; a garden beyond imagination. Very friendly and helpful host John. It was a privilige to stay here.

If I would be asked for positive feedback than I would say that I missed a common room for the guests to sit, relax and enjoy the view. I missed a place to sit in the evening for talking, reading and/or drinking a glass of wine. Because more guests are travelling more days it would help if there was a possibility to put some food in the fridge. And although the breakfast was delicious we were sorry that we could not pick more items on the card. The Ocean View Hotel is the only resaurant on walking distance and we don't think its the best option in the area But having said that, its al minor issues in the light of the perfect accommodation it is

This accommodation was a real surprise. It was fairly remote but really clean, comfortable and in the most beautiful location. Just minutes' walk to the beach, and we could see the sea from our window. The breakfast options were really different and food amazing. Our host John was just lovely and so accommodating. You can't bring food into the property and there isn't anywhere really close to eat so we had a large lunch when we were out and about and brought snacks to eat at the outside table. It was fine and we met a lovely American couple the first night. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and a visit to Laide

Nothing we didn't like

The property was outstanding. The property is situated in the most beautiful setting. The hosts have put so much detail into the inside and outside of the property. The furnishings were stunning, cleanliness was top class. Homemade cookies waiting on arrival in our room. The beds were so comfortable and the linen was luxurious. Lou our host is an arts and crafts genius and has spent a lot of time adding the personal touches to the property . I would recommend to anyone to stay here. Breakfast was outstanding and so delicious.

There is nothing at all to dislike about this property.

I wish I'd stayed longer than just one night! The service that I received at this B&B was nothing short of exceptional, from the welcome/check in experience, to the breakfast in the morning. I felt very safe and well looked after by the host; he was doing everything to ensure myself and the fellow guests were as happy as possible. Fantastic view of the gardens and beach from my room too!

I genuinely couldn't fault this place... will definitely stay again!

Incredibly friendly host. He can assist you with tips ed to make your stay more enjoyable The room is equipped with all facilities. You won't be short of anything. It's a pity to stay only 1 night. You need to specify in advance what you want for breakfast. This is to avoid waste. What we chose was more than worth it. On top of this there was a small buffet with general things like yoghurt/fruit juice etc.
