The location can’t be beat, with beautiful views over the Loch and just a short walk along the waterfront to the Ullapool downtown. The rooms were clean and spacious and seem to have been recently renovated, there is ample parking and the staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. We had a delicious dinner in the on site restaurant.

Absolutely gorgeous location with stunning views. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and beautifully presented. The breakfast was truly exceptional — both buffet and à la carte options were included and everything was delicious. It felt like great value for the price.

The location was fabulous and the view from the room breathtaking. The room was large and welcoming, great to relax in. The food was fresh and well cooked. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially a gentleman on the front desk named James. His customer skills were exceptional and he always seemed to be everywhere helping out where he could. James will go far.

Maybe the bar area could do with brightening up bit , little dark. Im sure its on their list of things to do as the rest of the hotel was recently updated to a good standard.

The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. We were given 2 rooms with stunning views and balconies overlooking the loch. The dinner was very good. Breakfast was great. One of my children was unwell and the staff were very caring. Altogether excellent.

The location was great, the staff very friendly. The rooms were lovely, we did get an upgrade to a room with a balcony. Beds comfy. The only complaint would be the room could do with a small fridge. Otherwise great stay

We must have stayed in a different hotel to people who are saying the staff were unfriendly, or maybe others just got them on a bad day. We found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Clean room, comfortable bed, great breakfast with plenty of choice. Within walking distance of the town.

The only thing that was disappointing was that our room overlooked a flat roof with other windows (bedroom and hallway) opposite. This wouldn't have been so bad if the windows had some sort of net curtain or blind on them. We had to pull the drapes for privacy which meant the room was dark and we had to turn the lights on.

Great hotel, comfortable very clean, lovely staff and nice rooms. George on reception was particularly welcoming and a lovely girl. Food at night was good, as was breakfast, no complaints on the food or service.

No lift, not a problem for us but we saw some guests struggling. Also, the rooms which look inwardly to each other would really benefit from some blinds or sheer curtains, as you could see directly into each others rooms. Breakfast was a disaster, they clearly did not have enough staff and we really felt for the staff they did have. This is a matter for the management not the staff who were doing their very best but you could see the pressure they were under. Tables not cleared, running out of plates, glasses, food and then food not arriving etc etc. again not the staff who were straining under the pressure but the management really needed to sort this out. So sad, as otherwise an exceptional hotel

We loved the terrace and our room was very clean and spacious. The staff were all lovely and made us feel very welcome.
