Our stay at this hotel was delightful! Nestled in the heart of the city, the historic building exudes charm and character. The large, lush garden with its stunning view creates a serene, tranquil escape, perfect for unwinding. The breakfast was a highlight—abundant fresh fruits and delicious dishes, with the chef preparing shakshuka and omelets right before us, adding a personal touch. The staff was incredibly friendly, responsive, and efficiently resolved an issue with our room, making us feel truly valued. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel, and we highly recommend it for its unique charm and excellent service!

The only downside was the pool, which was much smaller than expected. We had hoped for a full-sized pool and spa, but it felt more like a cozy relaxation area. Still, it was a pleasant spot to spend time in.

The hotel feels like an old house full of character, but with all the modern comforts. My room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The rooftop and garden are ideal for slowing down, coffee in hand, with Jerusalem spread out around you. The staff were friendly and helpful, present when needed. It’s not my first time there, and definitely not my last. A quiet, charming, cozy place that really feels like a getaway without going far. Highly recommend.

Everything was good

Hotel is located in EnCarem, A beautiful and peaceful place. Location is super. The hotel rooms are spread in a few locations and utilities the old buildings. We paid extra for a room with a hot tub. Unfortunately the tub is located outside and is not private. The room was not clean enough, had mold in the corners and apider nets on ceiling. Breakfast is nice but could be much better and far away feom other Israeli boutique hotels.

This hotel has been our home away from home in Jerusalem for years now, and it never disappoints! It's located in a quiet area, with a public (and free) parking lot just a couple of minutes on foot from the hotel; I'd suggest to have a car, because while there are a few restaurants nearby, if you want to go to Jerusalem city centre it's the best way. A big bonus of this hotel is the garden, an oasis of calm, beautiful in every season. The services and amenities are excellent and the staff goes out of their way to make guests feel home (thank you so much, we really feel part of the Alegra family!). Our favourite room is in the main building, with direct access to the garden (and when possible, the hotel accomodates our special request, like they did this time), but I can assure you that also the rooms in the building right opposite the street have the same beauty, unique style and another little garden (but guests are always welcome to come to the main building to enjoy the garden and the dining room/coffee corner). I highly recommend, at least one morning during your stay, to indulge in the rich, fresh and absolutely delicious breakfast (Israeli, with salad, bread, cheese, eggs, shakshuka... but you'll also find something if you prefer a sweet treat to start your day) - and the dining room is stunning and full of light, too!

Everything is lovely, but not for all budgets.

Magical and romantic atmosphere, great location, beautiful building and well equipped room within an ancient building. The architecture and interior design is amazing. The staff were really nice.

Nothing too dramatic - I would love the minibar in the room to have something inside, it was empty (although the kitchen is open for tea/coffee/water/beverages). Another thing that brothered me a bit is that our room was located near the entrance and the kitchen and it's not sound proof. It was a bit noisy during the day (but very quiet at night)

Great staff! Dudi specifically was really kind and helpful. And of course the rest of the staff as well. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The location is great and close to restaurants, attractions, and also is good for leisure travelers. Dual showers was a bonus, water flow and temperature was good.

Kinda hard to squeeze into the parking with a large car

Almost everything! I LOVE THIS HOTEL and it's. My 5th visit there. Excellent service, quick check in, extremely friendly staff, perfect location, fantastic atmosphere, great facilities.

Very slow internet connection to TV. Almost impossible to watch local channels and YouTube. Poor breakfast. I was expecting wider food options like in any other hotel.

The hotel is charming, in an historic stone home with a lovely courtyard , orchard and rooftop terrace with a lovely view of the green hills and churches of beautiful Ein Kerem. Nice that there is a spa with intimate hammam and sauna and if you’re staying in the suites, you get lovely fluffy bathrobes and slippers to use. Also nice that they offered complimentary hot vegetable soup and hot drinks on arrival.

Nothing to dislike

The staff was so pleasant and welcoming. They were there for everything we needed and more and always with a smile on their face. The breakfast was so good and was available until the late morning. They even gave us extra time to come back for seconds. Thank you very much to the staff for making for such a wonderful stay.

absolutely fantastic and exceptional place. One of the best boutique hotels I have ever visited. The staff of the hotel is kind helpful and I would like to mention especially the reception manager Doodi that was kind and went beyond the call of duty to help us. The rooms are large clean and very very comfortable. Breakfast is freshly laid daily and is exceptional. The area around his quaint and if you need to have breakfast or dinner you can find many nice small restaurants and brasseries.
