From the moment I stepped into Jerusalem Gold Hotel, I entered into a legacy of charm and elegance. I was welcomed with a warm reception by Mary, who is tri-lingual in English, Hebrew, and Arabic. She was eager to serve and assist me upon my arrival even sitting in the lounge area with a latte for me. I felt like I had arrived at my second home away from home. Any questions or directions I required throughout the week were promptly answered and attended to by Mary. Coffee and cool refreshments were available throughout the day. Trays of delicious pastry greeted us every morning. The view from my 8th floor room provided a wonderful scene of daily life in downtown Jerusalem. The bed and the pillows were the most comfortable accommodations I have ever slept in! The location is superb as access to areas of interest are within walking distance and all forms of transportation are just steps away from the hotel. Upon checkout, there was a vast spread of cultural delicacies available to enjoy! I felt like it was a personal ‘bon voyage’! I had the privilege of meeting Ariella, the General Manager, who was a pillar of grace for the hotel, a true gem! The whole experience at Jerusalem Gold was markedly wonderful and made it difficult to leave. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Jerusalem. You will not be disappointed!

Very cozy home like feels

The staff was especially helpful, and quick to fix any problems.

The hotel has a lot of mechanical debt, a lot of little things that need to be fixed, things like the first room had a toilet that was loose and leaked. The second room, one of the sockets was loose in the wall, the room door didn't latch unless you pulled/pushed real hard, and the bathroom door wouldn't latch at all. Also the "ada" bathroom would not be very functional for a person in a wheel chair for which it was designed, and it was impossible to keep the entire thing from getting drenched when you showered.

The location was amazing very central

I stayed in the hotel for 1 week everything was super .i have to mention Mary with being so accommodating with all my requirements wether heating my food up for Shabbat constantly asking me if everything is ok allowing me to check in unsociable hours FOC I had a mix up with my check in dates she told me don’t worry I will even give you a slight discount for the extra day and of course her beautiful smile which she greeted with every morning she is the best 💕 .Mary you are a star ⭐

Mary the receptionist manager was very helped, she provided the information I needed and she was always there to help. I can say her customer service is 10 out of 10. She is amazing, perhaps she is the star of the hotel. the hotel is well located, the train station to the airport and tel Aviv is about 50 meters from the hotel so as trams and buses. From here you can go different part of the country , even the bus central station is here, about 50 meters from the hotel. You can also walk from here to the old city or take a tram or a bus.

I loved the frontdesk stuff, Merry and Omar,they both were very kind.the lobby smelled nice,there was a coffee/tea corner with great coffee,milk and Soy milk. The furniture all around the lobby and room are retro style,the toilet and shower were very clean and it looks like they renew it lately. We took a room with two sections with a double bed and another bed in the second room and sofa ,TV IN both rooms. There was a small kitchen with a sink ,water boiler and a fridge.

The location is not so attractive but the price was very good for the facility.

Location, location. It's wonderful to be near the bus and train stations, so you can go anywhere. Jaffa Street is also nearby, and you can easily take the tram to either Mount Hertz and/or the Kotel and other sites. Of course, the staff is super awesome and friendly. Mary, Mary Mary. What a wonderful person. I can't say it enough. The entire staff is also great.

There are not many things i didnt like about this location, hotel, or anyone else. The only issue I guess would be that the heat/cool is either one or the other, but they understood and I was good with it because it was cool in Jerusalem during that time.

Excellently located close to main transport hubs. Reception staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. On arrival at 0830 hrs,Najla checked us in with an immediate upgrade to a suite. Mary, later provided us with invaluable travel advice on the best way to see the historical biblical sites. A first class service.

Hotel is dated and probably needs to undergo a freshen up!

The location right next to the station. The room was spacious as we got a free upgrade, thank you Najla. Also the bed and pillows were great. Staff excellent. Friendly Mary and Najla gave us excellent treatment. Breakfast buffet has everything and more you desire.

It's an older hotel so some of the facilities like the lobby and the restaurant are a bit old style. I don't mind but accept a 1990s look.

From the moment I walked in, the welcome by Mary at the reception was warm, professional and caring. She arranged for an upgraded room to be ready while in fact I was codering to just drop off my bag, as check-in time was a few hours away. Throughout my stay, she was always there with a smile and offer to help. A true asset in the hospitality industry. The room (junior suite) was comfortable. Furnishings are fine (meaning not worn) but look a bit dated - although that is not u common in Israel. Let’s just say they are better than one might expect at first glance. :-)
