The hotel has an excellent location—just a five-minute walk from the Mahane Yehuda Market, surrounded by countless cafes and restaurants, with 24/7 convenience stores nearby. There's also a light rail station right next to the building. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. Ours had two bedrooms, a small kitchen, and a combined bathroom and toilet. There’s also a lovely balcony with chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, taking all our requests into account. We loved our stay and will definitely come back next time we're in Jerusalem!

Everything was wonderful; the only small thing I missed was a hairdryer in the bathroom.

The term boutique hotel is the song of summarize it it is Avital hotel it's a family run especially specially fantastically well managed great atmosphere family atmosphere well located in the center of Jerusalem it is very important to keep those kind of hotel and not getting eaten by a chain or where everything is the same the only problem I have is that I don't have any more friends to come with me to enjoy this fantastic place close to the bus station the train station The Old City the city parks and the Rogers neighborhood where I go to pray every morning

I think if they could give the guest the breakfast the regular people who come to visit the owner are doing it will be even better you know have a special menu to give to the guests when arrive if you don't have breakfast be patient have a free coffee and wait for the guys to come in

The Avital Hitel was fantastic. A great location just steps from light train and Old City. Asief is a wonderful host. He assigned us room 3 per our request. We stayed at Avital two different times and will return next year next year. The hotel is decorated in vintage car decor which is really cool. The market is steps away. Highly recommend!

Was just perfect. Not fancy but clean & well located.

It was a great one night stay- just what we were looking for . We checked in on Friday early afternoon and checked out on Saturday evening . Ashram was an excellent host . He greeted us warmly and offered help with all our needs .

Specious - two rooms . Balcony . Nice location near the market and transportation. Coffee urn was provided for our needs .

The room was clean, spacious with a large comfortable bed. The location was superb with a light railway stop just outside. The market, which was fabulous, just a minute away. Various restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. If you are expecting 5* luxury then look elsewhere, but for good quality central accommodation look no further. Accommodation in Israel is pretty expensive compared to many other parts of the world and I’ve stayed in some fabulous hotels for less. However, taking everything into account including the extremely helpful staff this is an excellent base. The small kitchenette was a Godsend during Shabbat when there was nowhere open to eat.

The only criticism I have is that I upgraded my room to a 2 bed apartment a few weeks before I came and only got a bedroom with a kitchenette but still charged the price for a 2 bed. I should have checked and addressed it when I was still there but it didn’t occur to me until I’d left that I’d upgraded my accommodation, there was another door in my room but this was locked.

It was a very nice and comfortable stay I had at Avital Hotel. I stayed here 9 days. I got a very nice and spacious flat, with bedroom, livingroom (with flat screen), kitchen, bathroom (with flat screen) and balcony. Nice and lively neigbourhood, few steps to the tram (public transport). The personal of the Hotel is very helpul, kind and respectful, specially Ashraf. I did not get the names of other two recepcionists, but all of them were very nice to me. I have beeen many times in Jerusalem at different hotels, but this one has been the best. Very good value for money!

It was almost impossible to cook in the kitchen, due to the lack of kitchen utensils!

It was really amasing , actually the choice of this hotel made my trip to Jerusalem much more easy and comfprtable , wunderfull location near the main market, the main bus station, most of the religious places to visit and just in front of the light train station . Also a very friendly and helpfull staff specially ASHRAF. Very clean and large rooms. I would really recommend it to my friends

The bathroom was too small

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Service with a smile and a good cup of coffee in the morning. He could have been more accommodating. Definitely would book again.

The appartment had two rooms and a balcony. It was clean and quiet. AC in every room. The owners were very polite and helpful. Nice location next to food market, and next to the tram stop to the old Jerusalem.

The single beds were on wheels. So they were squeaky. It was very annoying. The kitchen had no hob or oven and was not equiped for cooking. Only a microwave and a water kettle.

Location! Location! Location! A very short walk to the Mahena Yehuda market!! We enjoyed the variety of restaurants in the market and the fresh baked goods and fruits and veggies. The market was so vibrant and the energy in the market is too the roof. The room was spacious with a car bed frame! Really cute. The air conditioning was great and there's a heater in the bathroom. The kitchen was adequately furnished. The reception folks were delightful and friendly. They assisted us with directions and even helped us with our luggage! It was a very pleasant experience. We will go back again in a heartbeat!!

The stairs to go up to the room. They did not have an elevator. Glad they put us on the lowest level.
