Location is great . The bed was comfortable and rooms are spacious a bit outdated would do with some refurbishing. Food tasted delicious and generous selection for breakfast.

WiFi was so slow - couldn’t even play music on YouTube as the internet kept on dropping off. There was so much dust on the headboard. While the food was tasty , it’s over priced because the service is terrible. I was so disappointed with the service we received in the restaurant. The staff seemed unbothered and were so slow. I ordered sobert for dessert the same time as my husband ordered ice cream. They bought my husband’s ice cream , he ate and finished while I waited for my sobbert which then came almost 45 mins later. No one comes to check if you are enjoying your food .Considering the restaurant was not busy when we had dinner I wonder what kind of service they provide when it’s actually busier, the staff seem to forget that they have customers waiting to be served 😒

The grounds are nice as it is a golf course course. Generally well maintained and decorated. Room was a decent size and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the swimming pool. Machines in the gym were very modern and well maintained.

The pool could do with a good cleaning of the grouting and restore the brilliance/whiteness. The restaurant is too pricey for lunch and dinner. The portion they provide is on the stingy side for the price charged. The food tasted nice and the complimentary amuse bouche was a lovely surprise but we chose not to get desert as the bill topped £100 with 2 drinks, 1 starter, and 2 mains. There needs to be a more reasonable alternative but we did order in the second night.

The hotel was spacious, the room was lovely and had a door to one of the courtyards, which felt nice. The pool is lovely for families with small children (not good if you're looking to swim lanes). There's a good gym as well. Staff was really warm and friendly.

All the things within the hotel's control were nice. The tap water in the area tastes bad (the hotel provides complementary free water). The pool was way to warm for me but I'm not the target demographic :)

Room had all we needed apart from a fridge. Large bed, comfortable mattress, desk for work & complimentary water. Bathroom was good, a tad dated but maintained well and tidy. Room cleaning - spot on. They did a great job. Room service was efficient and food tasty. Breakfast - good choice of food items and staff very welcoming and friendly. Very accommodating for a family with small child.

If the room would have a fridge - that would be great.

The facilities at the hotel are excellent, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant serves great food albeit the service was quite slow. There was a great choice at breakfast that caters for all needs and tastes. I particularly liked the pool and gym facilities.

The ability to use cash in the pro golf shop would’ve helped greatly or being informed about it so that I could make provisions. However cash was accepted in the bar. The decor could be updated, although it was well decorated the hotel gave off a 1930 feeling, in the bedrooms, something not to my taste.

The friendly staff especially on Breakfast service Are so lovely … always smiling & super helpful Always fresh food …. Good selection Super comfy beds & lovely linen Pick the courtyard terrace rooms … light bright & sunny ! Hotel is in a brilliant location for work etc

Would love smaller coffee cups instead of giant mugs Berries & bigger fruit selection at breakfast inc Granola to go with Greek yogurt … Needs a friendly sign to say “ wait here to be seated “ So everyone knows what to do ! So much confusion with everyone

They went above and beyond for everything. We called two hours away from the hotel asking if there was any chance we could check in early (12:30 compared to their 3pm time). When we arrived, everything was ready for us. There is someone on reception 24/7 so no worry for anything. They have a snack bar downstairs for a low price for products. They are very friendly and polite. Will be visiting again! Brilliant spacious rooms, everything you’d need in your room.

I wouldn’t change anything.

Great shout-out to Caylan, the reception staff working on Tuesday, and some of the waiters in the Cast Iron Grill restaurant were great. The TV in o e room wasn't working; we were put into another room and the TV wasn't working eirher. We were given another room but I decided to stay in 2nd room given. Within minutes, Caylan had the maintenance guy up to look at the TVs. He further went on to get us bathrobes and slippers and even had the chef send me a piece of chocolate cake which was nicely decorated on a plate. The food in thh evening was a lot better standard. Thanks to Caylan, evening chef and staff. Also, had a very good night's sleep.

TVs did not work in the rooms I was shown. Also, didnt have a good experience in the Zest bar - we received our Salmon Caesar salad without the crotons, cheese and sauce. Had to ask for those which came one by one. The cheese salad, plus the caesar salad did not reflect the Marriott standard, in comparison with the Marriott's in Canary Wharf and Central London.

Lovely location was there for a wedding and we decided to stay that night and have breakfast. Cannot fault it was a lovely hotel and great breakfast with a lot of choice from a traditional fry up to healthy granola, something for everyone. Absolute bonus that check out is at 12pm not often you see that at hotels usually 10am or 11am. This gave us time to eat and pack without a mad rush.

More toilet facilities closer to the wedding venue would be better as the wedding was outside and we had to walk all the way round to the reception to use them. Three bars are available however 2 were closed so had to do a large walk until we would the one that would serve us. These should in my opinion be open when a wedding or other event is taking place.

The bedroom was clean and spacious with probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We ate at the Cast Iron Grill for breakfast both days and also booked dinner there one evening. The food was outstanding, with an excellent selection for breakfast and also sufficient variety in the evening. The service and the food quality was excellent. We visited the leisure area and used the pool, sauna and steam room. It was very quiet when we stayed so we had no difficulty with the facilities being too busy. All of the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

What we assume used to be the jacuzzi was covered over and not working - minor inconvenience.
