Reception staff (one lady in particular was exceptional) - very welcoming , very helpful and communication was outstanding. Red haired gentleman behind the bar again exceptional, very helpful and very polite. I used the spa facilities also, had a facial and massage the lady was very helpful, very professional and made me feel at ease. Swimming pool staff again were exceptional and all very friendly. My two children and I have stayed at this hotel for many years when it was a Hilton, it was their favourite hotel and pleased to say it still is we had a wonderful 3 night break, it allowed us all to relax and spend some quality family time together.

The room was well made, tired looking rooms, poor standard of maintenance. The bath didn't work only the shower. Also the deluxe room you get bath robes but if your a family you don't and you have to pay more at 10 pound a robe. Last room booked was a deluxe at 85 pound, this room cost me 120 for less. Not a big deal but didn't take our own as this is not mentioned anywhere. The leisure facilities was a vast improvement with the gentleman working on Saturday,he was efficient and helpful. The facilities are tired with lamps not working in the steam room and sauna. The flooring around the pool is very slippery. I slipped over 3 times. Other than that it was nice and warm and fun for my family.

Excellent weekend break for my daughter and I. After a long flight, parking's an excellent addition to the experience 👏. I opted for early check-in, kept in touch with reservations and all went without a hitch. Food from the restaurant 👌. We had bar and restaurant service. I suggest booking a reservation at the restaurant as they do have busy periods to avoid disappointmemt. My daughter used room service to order a dirty burger and boyyyyy oohhh booyyy it was humongous. Let's talk about the gym, 🏊‍♀️, sauna and steam rooms. Unlike some reviews, the facilities worked. Many thanks to Benu, the housekeeping staff that serviced our room. Excellent work. 🛌 🛌 was comfortable not too hard or soft. I appreciate housekeeping staff as I too did that job many moons ago. Management, staff very professional. They were manerable, easy to talk to and went above and beyond to help where they could. Our stay was a breeze. I had such a good time I extended my stay for another night. Thanks Orida 🏨. Will definitely be seeing you again

Spacious room, excellent facilities. Staff went out of their way to make my daughter’s birthday special (balloons in the room, complimentary dessert with ‘Happy Birthday’ written in chocolate on the plate). Most of the staff were extremely friendly.

The hotel seems to attract a lot of rough families. No supervision in the pool to keep in check certain children whose parents are too busy to exercise any control over their inconsiderate and dangerous behaviour (dive bombing, excessive splashing, running, jumping over the side of the hot tub into the pool in the path of young children), especially when there are younger children in the pool who are becoming frightened by the behaviour. One older waitress who brought our main meal out was as sour-faced and rude as they come. She blanked me when I (very politely) asked for some ketchup for the children and practically threw the food in front of us.

It was a nice 1 night stay- we used SPA facilities. The room was really large and clean. It was a bit chilly in the room but with electric radiator it was much better. Breakfast was good,- just coffee machines were playing up a bit (sometimes no milk, sometimes no coffee).

The SPA closes at 6pm on Sunday- which we think is very early on Sunday as we decided to stay over night on Sunday evening. Worth checking SPA times before booking- but facilities were really nice: warm water, 2 nice saunas, jacuzzi was very warm. It was a bit of a surprise that there we could not lock the lockers (we were advised to bring our own lockers next time). It would be helpful to have this info on the Hotel's website.

The hotel was mainly a great comfy place to stay. Has a nice vibe.

Breakfast was a total disappointment. There was a good choice overall, but on the first morning the cooked offerings were all cold / tepid. This was pointed out to staff who checked and found it all cold / tepid. The next morning the situation was exactly the same! !! Nothing was done to correct this problem & we heard several others commenting on the problem. We always look forward to a nice cooked breakfast when staying away & this experience certainly spoilt our stay at your otherwise great hotel. We will be returning again , despite the disappointment & will check it this has been sorted.

A Relaxing and Enjoyable Stay at Orida Hotel Maidstone From start to finish, the experience was seamless and relaxing. The hotel was clean, which instantly made us feel comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the swimming pool—my kids absolutely loved it and had a great time splashing around. The breakfast was also fantastic, offering a good variety of options to start the day. What stood out most was the calm and easy-going atmosphere of the hotel. It made it incredibly easy for me to unwind and truly enjoy the stay. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family-friendly, affordable place

However, I did find the prices at the hotel restaurant to be quite high. With so many more affordable options available nearby, including takeaways and other restaurants within a short drive, it was a bit disappointing. And the floor to swimming pool dirty

Lovely and helpful staff everywhere. The restaurant food was really good and good value. We had a dog and paid 30gbp more and they have a clear pet policy. Dogs are allowed in the bar area and was very relaxed. Rooms were very big. We had 2 double beds. Car parking is outside, 5gbp extra. Hotel is close to some shops too and just off motorway. Great stopover before ferry/tunnel. Would recommend.

The hotel is a bit tired, staff keep it very clean but tables in bar and breakfast area were sticky. Despite this, I would and did stay again. Price value with breakfast is good.

Breakfast was great and lots of choice of hot and continental also plenty of space to sit. The bedroom was lovely and loads of space chairs and table to sit at we only stayed one night but if staying longer that would be great. Bed was sooooo cosy and comfortable we had the best sleep! All in all a lovely stay and we would return 😁

Only down falls to our stay the hot breakfast food was not hot it was literally only just warm! Definitely something that needs to be looked into! Was still edible I will say but would have been alot nicely hot! The bath in our bathroom when we arrived was very dirty but we learned quickly it was because the bath water didn’t run away! It was very obvious it was blocked aswel so was a shame the cleaner hadn’t checked how it looked after the water had gone down as they would have seen how dirty it had been left!
