It's in a great location, just a few minutes dander to the Strand. Free parking on site. Our room was facing the street but we didn't hear any noise. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. The room is decorated to a high standard and was exceptionally clean. It has heating, air conditioning, wifi, big Smart TV with Prime, Netflix etc. Bathroom exceptionally clean too, with a good selection of toileteries and thoughtful extras. A fridge in the room, with bottles of water, was such a bonus. Hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits. Table and chair with a mirror and additional chair with a footstool. The room is very comfort to sit in, not just somewhere to sleep. The breakfast was superb. Much better than I expected for a B&B, excellent selection. Theresa is so welcoming and attentive and Robert makes the best scrambled eggs. Theresa and Robert's B&B is much better than some 4* hotels.

A lot of places are listed on booking.com as wheelchair accessible and they are definitely not when you arrive or make further enquiries with the accommodation owner . This b&b however truly is! Not hidden steps. Broad doorways , broad hallways, wet room style bathrooms with build in stool. Room between beds to allow for safe transfers. The hosts are amazing. This was our second time staying and we will be back. Approximately 5min flat walk into portstewart centre. Doable in an electric wheelchair/ scooter or push wheelchair or with small kids. Owners very turned in and helpful. Parking onsite.

Amazing vibes of the host - Theresa and Robert! This is always what i love in guest houses where people are so welcoming and friendly. Great room with a free upgrade to a more lux king size bed. Great breakfast, freshly made and lots of choices. Therese and Robert were very responsive and gave excellent recommendations. They even helped us a lot with our roadtrip by providing great tips for main highlights. Will definitely be back. Theresa and Robert, please know that hosts like you, make the world a better place to live in !

Honestly, everything was great!

The room was very spacious, clean and modern, the beds very comfortable. Plenty of sockets and close to the beds (important). We could also control the heating to our liking. We arrived late and check in was very easy. The host was amazingly nice, she wrote back and forth to us several time to help us with late arrival, parking, and restaurant choices. Breakfast was good and again, the hosts were very friendly and chatty.

Nothing we did not like about the hotel. A word or advice for future travellers, there are not many restaurants in the area and they close very early.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, so informative, easy check-in, room was beautiful, clean, tidy, modern, fresh, has air-con, Netflix, huge tv, fridge, comfy beds, clean bathroom, great shower, retractable skylight which is lovely a feature, lots of space in the room too. Location was class, 3 min walk downhill into portstewart. Host honestly were so nice, met them couple of times, very genuine polite helpful people.

No bad points - it was excellent. 10/10

We just returned from an overnight stay at Port 56. Thw guesthouse was very modern and rooms were a fantastic size, beds were extremely comfortable and very clean. You are less than 5 minute walk to Portstewart. Theresa was a fantastic host and sent through lots of information prior to our stay and even let us check into our room slightly earlier than 3pm. We will definately be back.

I never leave reviews, but this place deserves one!! Lovely breakfast, plenty of options! Comfy room with amenities, including fridge, towels, hairdryer, shower gel/ shampoo/ conditioner, and a great selection on the TV too, for downtime during the day! Also able to darken the room significantly with a blackout blind, which was great for North Coast summers! There's a 9pm cut off to be quiet which i really appreciated as other places in the area have been known to be spoilt due to rowdiness of other guests, but not here! :)

The location was great and such a short distance to walk to the town and along the sea. They just thought of what would make our lives a little easier with cot for the baby, high chair set up at breakfast, toiletries in the bathroom etc. Theresa was so helpful and welcoming we really felt like we were staying somewhere so comfortable.

The only thing was windows didn’t open which made it feel a little stuffy sometimes but room size was very good so this was only the case in the mornings sometimes.

Breakfast was delicious. Location was good, we could walk to nice eating/drinking spots.

Had bad connection with phone and didn't realize we needed to let them know what time we wanted breakfast. Owner was still very accommodating to us, especially since we needed to leave early for Carrick-a-Rede tickets. Very nice. Beds were nice but I did hit my head on the loft bed twice. Just not used to that setup.

What a fabulous guesthouse right in the heart of Portstewart. Nothing was too much for Robert and Theresa. It was very modern, clean, and comfortable. Everything we needed was in the room, and there was a fridge, which was really handy. Breakfast was delicious, and everything was cooked and served by the owners themselves who were great craic. We were sent plenty of info before arrival on checking in, places to visit, and where to eat. If you're lucky, you may also be lucky enough to meet the famous Chris Pine 😉 We would highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!
