Rooms are well appointed and clean and we made good use of the laundry facilities which you need coins for.

It was a bit soulless and the free meals looked unappetising so we didnt have ours

We booked a container room with two beds for a late-night check-in. Compared to the Deluxe Twin Room, it was not much space, but it was worth the money when we just needed room to sleep. The same container with a double bed has a massage chair to make a stay relaxing. So, after trying all three rooms, I realised that I will always choose R9 Hotel when I need to stay in the Yatsushiro area. Their facilities are quiet and clean, whichever room we are in. We still haven't tried the coffee machine at the reception, which I should try during the next stay.

Our second stay here. It's a perfect location for us as a bit of getaway space when we need cinema night and shopping at Kardi. Hotel R9 provide a super clean and spacy room with comfortable furniture and satisfying amenities. It places to the busyish road, but you won't notice any noise around here, and the view in the hotel zone is impressive at night. We haven't used it yet, but the coin laundry container is near the reception and looks convenient and safe to use. For brunch, you can easily access Joyful or Hoshino coffee.

Not I didn't like it, but it will be great if there are some changes in the followings: Two times of staying, I wondered why there was no cutlery when they installed plates, mugs, pans with the IH cooker kitchen. You can visit reception for fresh coffee, but it would be great if coffee/tea were in the room.
