No problems with wi-fi. Lots of horizontal space: desk/table with straight chair, second small table. Comfortable bed. Heat works well. Good-sized coffeepot; mug provided instead of paper cup.

Only ceiling lights. No bedside light, so reading in bed means looking up into that ceiling light. No light on wall with bathroom mirror, so my face was in shadow while shaving. Shower head hangs from ceiling, and can't be adjusted to direct water flow. Check-in time at 4 p.m. I could find things to do till then, but would rather have checked in at 3, which is the usual time for motels. All rooms on second and third floor, and no elevator. Not a problem for me, but older guests or those with lots of luggage might have difficulties.

Calm, good welcome by staff, great mattresses, large rooms, clean and well decorated rooms, large covered parking, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, we really felt well in this hotel where we stayed 2 days.

No breakfast, neither lobby but it was not a problem for us as there are supermarkets nearby (3 and 5mn by car both ways of the road). Far from LA, 2h drive at peak times, 45mn at night from Beverly Hills but the price quality was worth it for us. We just adjusted our commute times.

We had a wonderful stay at Surf City Inn. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and pillows. Despite its proximity to the highway, I didn't notice any noise, and the beach was just a short walk across the street, making it very convenient. There were also numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel is small and quiet, with updated and well-maintained facilities. For its price, it's an excellent choice

This place was the best place we stated while in California. The room was very spacious, bed was comfy, comes with a refrigerator and microwave. So close to the beach, and the housekeeping lady was the absolute sweetest. It was quite for the most part, expect you can hear the cars driving by. But I would definitely stay there again. Its all updated in a beachy vibe!

I have zero complaints.

The hotel room was immaculate with maid service daily. The room was really big too with great views of the bay. All appliances worked and are up to date. The lighting is great with dimming options as well. All the corners were clean and not overlooked like most hotels, even really expensive nice ones. Truly clean hotel and the staff was also very friendly.

Not allowed to smoke marijuana on the property, but I respect the rules because that also means no cigarettes are allowed, which is great! Plus it caters to being a family friendly place and it's very clean.

Honestly I've been trying out different places in the surrounding area because I'm there once or twice a month and I have to say the customer service was excellent here. Place was super clean and even though it was close to the highway it was actually pretty quiet. I had an issue with my booking. I think it was an issue with booking.com or user error maybe both but some how my reservation had gotten canceled not sure how or why but that's okay. The lady there I can't remember her name for the life of me but she went out of her way to make sure we had a place to stay. And honestly for a home away from home it was really comfortable. The overhead shower was a treat.

I wish I had more time there.

I’ve stayed here before and it was nice then but they’ve redone it and it has very nice linens on the beds comfortable beds. Very nice flooring very clean cute bathrooms. I liked it all around especially for the price. It’s a great value.

The only downside I could see was that there’s no elevator for people that that might be challenging for, but it didn’t bother me

I liked the location. The beach was about a 7min walk. It wasn’t so busy like other crowded beaches as this felt more private because it’s a neighborhood. Some really good restaurants around. Hunnington beach was 10-15 min drive for a more busier beach.

Property is on stilts so you do have to climb stairs. My family didn’t mind but it’s just more of a fore warning.

This place was fantastic. The place was clean and seemed to be very secure. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you are on a budget, this is the place for you!

It was a little further to the main part of Huntington Beach than I would have liked. The upstairs guests seemed a bit noisy.

This hotel was located close to Huntington Beach, which was where we were meeting up with family. Very easy to get around because it was on PCH. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating.

The facility looks like it could use some attending to, it was a bit dirty and worn down on the outside. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, but the pillow were incredibly uncomfortable and small for the size of the bed.
