Initially we didn't expect the town to be like that. It was our mistake, we wanted something on the lake. And the hotel was in the middle of nowhere for us, you must have a car or it's nothing to do there. But again, that was our mistake and wrong expectations. Also the toilet is far from the bedroom which was not very comfortable for us because our kids slept in the room next to the toilet.

In short: the hotel is great! very nice and friendly people, clean rooms, very good breakfast, excellent kitchen for dinner. Our balcony (with insect net) added some pieceful moments to our stay. Additional recomendation for those, who travel in this region, have cash with you. Parking lots, cafes, often prefer having cash only, so be ready. In one of souvenire shops we made a purchase for 40€ and had to search for an ATM to buy it.

As described, in the hotel there is no AC. Travelling In July made our room at night very hot. We slept with open balcony door. And here comes the reason to reduce 10/10 to 8/10... Next to the hotel there is a chirch. EVERY morning at 6 AM there are bells ringing, very loud and for some while. You can not avoid them, every morning we were awoken. It also rings on weekends. Those travellers who are used to have active chirches in the neighborhood, can ignore the complain. The hotel is indeed outstandingly good

A very cozy hotel in a small resort town, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Unfortunately, we were without a car, so we got there by bus and sometimes on foot. The hotel provides a travel pass. It's a 7-minute ride to Prien am Chiemsee, and from there you take the tourist train to the ferry. The hotel has pleasant staff. We stayed here for 2 nights. It was quite hot during these days, and we had to open the windows to sleep comfortably. At the same time, there are mosquitoes in this area. We managed quite well, but for those who might find it a problem, ask for a room with air conditioning. The hotel's restaurant was a revelation for me. I have never eaten such delicious German cuisine. You will see the same names you usually see on any biergarten menu, but it's so delicious!! Here I also had the best döner of my life😂.

Rooms are a bit small, but they are nice and comfortable, beds are very comfy. In bathroom you get soap and shampoo with alpine herbs, which smells very nice. Windows have net against moscitoes, what is very important, as there are lot of them around. Sleeping is very good, surrounding is quiet. It is on good position in center of Rimssting, to the lake and beach is about 2 km. They have a very good restaurant with excellent food, we were very satisfied with quality and quantity of food for dinner, I am enclosing photos how nice food is served. Really a very nice and good place to stay and I wish coming again!

Everything was excellent except one thing: just to hotel there is a farm with many cows, from which comes smell, which is not very nice. This is really the only objection which I have.

Good comfortable and clean room for one night stay. We did not use the restaurant or spa, but it looked good, and if we stayed longer, we would have.

The church bells right next door! 6am alarm call that seemed to go on forever. Should really have been forewarned. .

Great location, the rooms are newly renovated, very clean and cozy. The in the restaurant was excellent, with very tasty vegetarian choices. I warmly recommend the place.

Property is very beautiful and well equipped. Room was spectacular with a lot of free gifts. Staff was also very friendly!

Staff were very helpful, and hotel dog friendly.

No restaurant available, so we had to find somewhere else to eat, finally found a takeaway pizza place. 15€ for our dog was very expensive. Will not visit again, purely due to price and lack of facilities.
