Price exceptional for a clean room with everything working, a welcoming staff and quick easy check-in. Now, location wise you're on highway 97 at the north tip of K-Falls. Perfect if you want to return to your travel in the morning. STILL, there is a small convenience store just next door, and a couple major traveler's stops for gas, market, deli, etc just across the road, as well as a Subway and a Carl's Jr.

If you want to feel you are in, or even close to a "neighborhood", or downtown, or any real sense of being "in town", you're going to feel a bit separated from any of that.

This place was a pleasant surprise. I booked it as a cheap place to stop for the night on my way to Portland with a detour to Crater Lake and it really exceeded my expectations. It was super affordable, very clean, comfortable, and felt safe as a solo female traveler. I didn’t try the complimentary breakfast, but at the price I’m surprised there even was one. Oh, and the WiFi was quite fast. Would stay here again!

There were some items that’s seemed worn, like the comforter having a hole in it, but since everything was clean and it was a good price, I wasn’t bothered by it.

Old style motor hotel, where you park right outside your room’s door. Rooms have been updated inside. A BIG plus is that the parking is COVERED. It’s a basic, clean place to overnight without the inflated hotel prices of the hotel strip. Would definitely stay there again if passing through.

Breakfast is basic - coffee, corn flakes, Raisin Bran, milk, a small sweet roll selection, and maybe fruit (not sure on that one). Note that it is on a downgrade coming into town on a main highway, so if you’re sensitive to traffic sounds, it may be late when traffic slacks off enough to sleep. I was so tired it didn’t matter.

The hot and cold water in the shower were reversed. Had it on full hot, only to get cold water. Thought there was no hot water in the room. Checked the sink, and there was hot water. Got back in the shower and tried to use the shower again, but with it set to some cold on the knob and sure enough, there was hot water.

We used A1 Budget Motel as a base for travel to Crater Lake. The motel exceeded at expectations on every front : the rooms were super clean, the beds comfortable and good selection of TV channels. The location felt safe. I wasn't keeping well and the office manager was especially nice in supporting my special needs. She even recommend good places to eat. Had a wonderful and comfortable stay.

The rooms are functional, comfortable and super clean. A little more of jazz (wall color/pictures/flowers outside) would make theh hotel even better.

Comfortable room for a reasonable price! Covered parking is a nice touch. Room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed: nice bed and bathroom, plus a fridge and microwave. Plenty of security cameras make it safe. Easy access, right off the highway and a friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again!

No issues for me, but anyone who relies on USB charging ports should bring a wall charger. Also, the bathroom counter may be a little high for some. I am 5'5" and it was waist high. So if you're short, just bring a stool!

Convincente location near downtown and an hour drive to Crater Lake National Park They have pet friendly rooms. Kind staff.

Near the highway the “breakfast” that is offered includes coffee, a bagged pastry, and choice of two Kellogg type frosted corn cereal a whole milk. There is a charge of $20.00 extra per dog (the place is pet friendly)

The office is awesome and helpful I'm in a wheelchair it was super easy to get in and out of the room and also you park directly in front of the room thank you for offering a affordable price we will stay and have stayed many times the bed was comfortable this time also :)

The room was quiet, the bed and pillows comfortable, the shower was lovely, I had everything I needed, I felt safe, and I slept well. Check in and checkout very easy and quick, the proprietor was friendly and helpful. And, it was right on my way, no detour for me.

My room was very clean and comfortable. It’s a small motel and all the rooms are at ground level. Covered parking right outside room door. The room felt safe and secure and my drive into downtown Klamath Falls for breakfast was very quick and easy. This motel beats those big box economy chains any day.
