The Maverick Motel is under new management and the owner is great! There was an issue with my first room that he was very quick to respond to and changed my room immediately. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows are the small square ones that I prefer to the bigger, bulkier ones. The water pressure is wonderful. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, and the local museum. It is in a safe and quiet location. All the staff members were very friendly.

The walls are thin, so I was woken up when people checked into their room after 10pm and I heard a squeaking noise when they ran their shower. The towels are also kind of thin.

I enjoyed my chat initially, with the owner. He was clear, concise and congenial. I requested a 2nd floor room, and was accommodated, graciously. He also was so kind to carry my bag. ( Recent surgery) I have stayed before, over three years..they are consistently clean and caring. Love the new floors, quiet atmosphere and close to the Amtrack station, which is where local buses transit through. Thanks for two great nights of uninterrupted wifi, and great movie package!!

That I only stay one night in each direction, on my journey!

Spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable! I like that the doors are set back a bit into their alphabetized groupings. Gives a lot more privacy and soundproofing. I needed a clean, safe, and comfortable place to sleep, no frills and amenities I won't use, and this place delivered.

Very minor, but the door handle was loose and made it difficult to open the door before the card needed to be rescanned. Took me several tries each time I entered.

Small old bath towels. Should be exchanged The bed has a metal framing that goes all the way to the floor. Everything you stand in front of the bed you hit it with your toes, and it makes a loud noise. a train runs somewhere close several times at night and makes noise Air condition is noisy. The air lifts up the curtains so they may not stay close Not all these items have a solution and it did not affect our one night stay excessively. I listed them so management can adress them I still rate the hotel 8+ overall

Overall the room was really great. It did have a microwave and refrigerator. AC was working great too. Bed was comfortable with extra pillows. Parking was very near just outside of the room. Very quite too. I didn't have a breakfast in the lobby but I saw a coffee machine in the lobby. Area was good too we found a 4th July parade in the morning just front of the hotel while checking out on July 4th.

Only one thing I didn't like was a weird sound created by bedframe whenever you foot strikes it since the frame is filled and usually you put off your flip-flops just near the bed and at that moment you always strike the frame metal sheet and it sounds like drum funny hmm.. but yeah it is what it. :D

Neighborhood was fine and there was a great restaurant/brew pub right next door. Also a great independent coffee place within easy walking distance for coffee pastry breakfast before checkout. Staff is friendly. Great for a one night stay on a road trip.

Room was very small so the king size bed took up most of the space. The bed frame was metal sheeting so every time someone approaches the bed, the metal gets kicked and sounds like a dumpster being emptied—very odd choice of furniture. I could hear people in other rooms as they inadvertently banged into it too.

Close to everything ! Easy walking access to downtown Klamath but also next to highway to crater lake. There’s on-site coin operated laundry - washer/dryer. Beds were comfortable. Lots of options on smart tv - full list of channel plus a couple of free movie channels. Fridge and microwave in room. Manager and staff very friendly and helpful.

I liked everything !

Check in was super fast and easy. Our room was recently renovated and the upgrades from when we were there last, are fantastic! Super friendly staff, and in a great location to stop on our travels between northern Washington state to the California Bay area. There is also a brewery/restaurant right next door that is awesome! Great price!

After renovating the room, they forgot to put back the hair dryer and coffee maker, but we just had to make a quick call to the front desk, and these items were brought to us promptly.

This place is great value for money, conveniently located for road trips. The beds are actually amazing g and these rooms are immaculately clean. Free wifi is fast. Two level motel layout, I’ve stayed here twice and find the manager extremely attentive and they offer all night reception for late night arrivals like us. Highly recommend this place.

No coffee machine in the room.

I like to stay at this place when I visit Klamath Falls and I like the accommodations and location.

I did not like having to stand there after a 14 hour drive and listen to hotel policies, especially since I am pretty sure that they must have been able to see that I had stayed there on multiple occasions before.
