Location next to MTR & mall.

Questions to Booking.com. : Why is the picture for Plaza Deluxe Family hill view different from the room given to us & why are we ask to “pay extra” for the room we have booked in Booking.com ? This is very misleading for future guests if they need to book? Royal Plaza Hotel Front Desk Staff by the name of “Wing”said I have to “pay extra” to get similar hill view room that I have booked from Booking.com. She discouraged me from getting the hill view room & said I have to walk very far to get to the room? Wing is unfriendly, confusing & not approachable. I have a picture attached above with view I booked & below picture was what was assigned to me. Kindly reply. Thank you.

This is our second time staying in this hotel and we LOVE the location! The hotel has direct access into the large MOKO shopping centre which is also where the Mong Kok East MTR station is located. It is also easy walking distance to the heart of Mong Kok's bustling streets and markets. The rooms/facilities are clean and well appointed, however, the rooms are very small. We booked 2 rooms, each with 2 double beds and there was just enough space to get around each other. It's also worth mentioning that the shower is located inside the bathtub and this was a bit difficult for my mother to get in/out of (despite the hotel provided steps to help step over the bathtub) - I was so worried she might slip and fall. Thankfully, she was fine! I'm not sure if the hotel has rooms with accessible showers so if this is a concern, it's worth checking first. The staff were really lovely from the reception/concierge staff and bellboy/doorman through to the cleaners who will always greet us with a smile when we pass them in the hallway. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Hong Kong - the location alone is already worth it!

Beautiful family suite nicely appointed and very well designed with good lighting. Amazing bay windows with automated curtains. Spacious areas and well separated for privacy. Very comfortable bed with good support. Thoroughly enjoyed the room facilities.

Sad to say that the breakfast was very disappointing. The only options offered were Western breakfast or Chinese breakfast and there were no variations for the whole of our 5 days stay. Very boring!! On top of that, the cereal on our first morning (Friday) was stale and not at all crunchy. Perhaps it was because they opened the box on Monday and was still using it by Friday??!!?? On Tuesday, the cereal (same kind - corn flakes, no variation) was crispier. Maybe it was a new box.

Everything was excellent with our 4-night stay! We had a beautiful view from our room, the beds were so comfortable (and per our request, feather-free, too), the room was cleaned daily, great shower with hot water, filtered drinking water was a plus, easy access to the MTR, and next to a mall. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Royal Plaza Hotel!

Were not able to dial in the room temperature- It got hot at night sometimes.

The location of the hotel is excellent as the lobby connects to the mall, the MTR( metro station) as well as to the shopping streets. Buses are also easily accessible outside the station. The room was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. The only downside we felt was that the breakfast was a set menu with not many options( given the price), but we found a lot of other good cafes around the area.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to a mall and a metro station, making it easy to access shopping and transportation. The rooms were immaculate and provided a high level of comfort, which made our stay very pleasant. A highlight was the availability of a drinking water tap in the room, which was very convenient because we have a baby. We appreciated that our rooms were close to each other, which made coordinating with family members easy. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, enhancing our overall experience.

- The metro line near the hotel had poor connections to other lines, which often required us to take longer routes. - The check-in process was quite lengthy, which was a bit frustrating after a long journey.

The hotel is conveniently located in Mongkok and sits above a shopping mall and Mongkok East MRT station. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms provide generous space for HK, the gym/swimming pool/hot tub are excellent, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We found the staff very friendly, although this is a rather large hotel and the service can therefore feel impersonal.

The lack of a room service is puzzling considering that this is a 5 star hotel. Room service really ought to be provided in a hotel of this category.

Location is strategically located in tourist area, MTR just below the building and Double queen beds is a plus with its spacious room space. Ver walking distance to lots of nice food. will stay again if visit HK in future.

Building a big old, Aircond loud at night, price on higher side. No breakfast room price, but near hotel lobby there is Ming Wah local style restaurant which complimented this.

The room was good and the locationwas excellent given the MRT is right next door. The shopping centre in the same building was also handy.

I didnt like that you had to book to use the pool. I didnt like that the buffet was only open for breakfast one day out of the six that we were there. The concierge didnt provide the information that we needed each time we approached them. They need to be able to provide more information about restaurants and speak better English to cater for all clients.

Well maintained, nice rooms, good aircon.

No power outlets for international travelers. You need a converter. No real refrigerator in the room, cannot store things like milk for children. 3 weddings happening and the jacuzzi was closed. No breakfast.
